I've decided to make all HUDs undergo the Outworld Destroyer test (Outworld Destroyer's name has to fit in the name box otherwise the HUD is shit).

That SS HUD failed dismally. Underwater, on the other hand, does very well.

Was wondering if any of you guys would know about any resources that I could use to better understand how taking towers down work in terms of pushing lanes?

Was trying to research it a bit and I came across some stuff that said how taking down a Tier 1 tower early was bad since it pushed the lane, which isn't ideal early game. How true would you say that statement is?

It's a bit more complicated than that and, like so many things in Dota, situational to a certain extent.

As a rule of thumb I'd say that taking down the enemy mid t1 is almost always desirable since it takes away a critical tp point and gives you good access to the enemy jungle. The fact that the lane pushes further into enemy territory isn't that important here since most mid heroes don't want to sit in lane and afk farm, at the same time the created space lets you gank the enemy mid much easier if necessary.

It's similar for the enemy safe lane, while taking down that t1 technically creates space for the enemy farmer when the lane is pushed in it also makes ganking that lane plus the enemy jungle much easier, so if you're active you can shut down the enemy cores nicely.

As for the enemy long lane you'll want to push for the t2 immediately after destroying the t1 if at all possible, because their long laner or a rotating carry is going to have a field day when only the t1 is down. You'd only open up a single ganking route which is generally covered by even the most basic wards, i.e. creating a pretty safe farming lane for the enemy. The dire long lane t1 and t2 are also arguably a lot more critical due to their vicinity to the rosh pit, which means they're more likely to be defended than their radiant equivalents.

Got my party MMR at last: 3092. Wood tier confirmed. That score is about 200 points higher than it was after my first calibration game though.

On a more positive note. I have set a new record for my win-loss. I am now a positive 7 from 50%.

Titan have a slark with a gem and it means IG have no map vision at all. It's such a good benefit of the hero. With his night vision I think he would work really well with a nightstalker in the lineup.

5 Microplush Pokeballs

- Not in Pokeballs. They're in bags inside of boxes
- Got 3 Pucks, Tide and Windrangerunner
- Seriously, 3 Pucks!?
- 2 Alch Bracers, Heaven Shoulders, Death Prophet Crown and CM Staff. No Dagon, no Druid Form, and a dupe...
- Seriously, Puck You!

:(

This is like opening crates. Valve's terrible RNG system even transcends into the real world. 3 Pucks!?

I've been learning to play NP in bot games and I still don't know when the best time to use his ulti. Do I cast it on weak creeps close together so it then bounces to other waves after the one near the area where I casted it?

I cast it one the ground when I see lots of creeps and ennemy heroes on the mini-map.

You actually wanna save it for fights in the early game. Don't use it to farm, the damage can secure a kill early on.

Later bounces do more damage, so click on the lane where you can get by with the least amount of push/fight. Naturally you'll want three lanes of creeps visible to maximize your bounces.

Outside of that, you can be selective with its use unless the enemy team is running death pushes or something.

You can use it:

a.) During team fights

b.) To push lanes

A - You want to cast it in some lane away from the fight because the ult does more damage the more creeps it hits before reaching/passing through the target area. Say there's a fight breaking out at your bot T1 tower. You cast your ult on an enemy creep wave top. When the ult finally bounces to the enemies bottom, it's doing more damage than it would have if you cast it where the fight was breaking out.

You don't always have the luxury of doing it this way and can sometimes miss out on a kill if someone slips into the fog of war before the bounces get to the area you wanted the bounces to hit at, so keep that in mind. Sometimes you NEED to cast it at the fight. You'll get a better feel for that as you play NP more.

B - Ideally, if pushing lanes, you want to pop the ult with a maximum number of creeps on screen. That simply means that ideally, you see 3 lanes of minions that your ult will bounce through. If you don't see at least 2 waves of minions on the minimap, you wait until you do to use it. Remember, the more bounces, the more damage being done and the more impact the ult has. Also, the better the chances you get some creep kills and income coming in from the ult.

Does shallow grave counter LC's duel and does Shadow Demon's Purge remove the bonus damage stacks?

Not sure about Purge, but yes Shallow Grave counters/supports duel, depending on what team he's on.
