It's sort of a roguelike survival horror. You are dropped in a randomly generated map, and need to gather resources to craft items to progress. Things become super dangerous at night and you need to either hunker down or run for your life. There is also a hunger meter... hence the name.

Been waiting ages for the PS4 port. Hopefully the controller controls don't suck.

There's about 3-4 games I've waited to play and held off on getting the cheaper versions on PC. Don't Starve is one of those.

I was ready to pay full price for Don't Starve on PS4, but getting it for free via PS+ is quite nice.

If you guys didn't catch what happened in the Vita thread today, all of the discussion for the PlayStation Network is moving into 1 thread.

Here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=743758 (i guess you can complain about Grace Chen in here now).

What that means is the weekly PS store thread will be no more after this week. It has been a crazy run (hell I have been doing it for almost 5 years now) If there is a big sale or something that will get its own thread, but the weekly thread is now done. Shoutouts to Tanod, chubigans, goldrusher, Brazil, jvm. This thread has always been a blast to do.

If someone wants to make one last wrestler banner, I will throw it in the OP in memoriam.

Wow, this was an institution. So what, are Sony not doing weekly updates anymore? Is it just going to be scattered uploading from here on out?

Edit: Hrm, just read about it... sad to see the weekly thread go.

I will basically just paste the OP weekly in the PSN thread for that month. I might go back to the old format of listing all releases, who knows.

Why couldn't we have the thread made for a few days and then merge them together. Therefore the information is in there but new news is still seen via a new thread...

Bummer. I liked the weekly PSN thread, was always looking forward to it. Well, I guess we have to go with the times. Mobile is all the craze and consoles are dying (just kidding...).

Thanks Kass for keeping this up, it had a good run.

I can't say I agree with the decision but I can't change it. These threads have been a staple for me since before I had a neogaf account and I will miss them.

Well, it totally makes sense to have to dig new info out of a long and already established thread than it is to see it in a new one.


...the hell kind of decision is this? Seriously, I've only caught stuff a few times thanks to seeing this on the main page.

It will be interesting to ee what form this takes. Personally I find it a shame, I have really been enjoying these threads.

Since this is pretty much the last Weekly store thread could some explain to me two things.

1. Where did the wrestler thing come from? I remember seeing an explanation a while ago but I can't remember

2. When I was a lurker I remember I always saw someone post a photo of some car keys. I have no idea what it meant. Someone explain? Think it was this photo

1. We were promised a demo for Smackdown vs Raw (07?) for PS3 and it never came out. We hid the wrestlers in the banners to celebrate its (never)release.

2. The keys were given to the person that found all the hidden items in the banner each week.

:/ thanks for the years of weekly updates kassatsu, shame its changing going forward. I imagine there are going to be a lot of people like myself who don't check out those megathreads but view these threads weekly.
