Kou has a pretty clear preference, and it isn't Yu. Not sure if pun intended.

I dunno...

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
Arena takes place between the end of P4 and the Golden epilogue.

I believe it takes place two months after Yu leaves for the first time, since it is happening during Golden Week.

------------------------------------------------------

Ok, truth be told, I did wanted to date
Naoto
in P4G but I fucked up her strict requirements and decided to lust after
Adachi
instead, lol.

Oooh okay. I looked up the new ending and it takes place in July/August. I remember Arena took place during Goldenweek. Okay, that all makes sense.
I do wonder if we'll see them again in Persona 5, along with the SEES.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

Given the level to which Atlus has milked P4 and P3, I'm sure they'll both 3 and 4 will have some tangential relationship to P5.

Dresden knows whats up with Fire Emblem, Lucina my man!

As for Nisekoi, I'm leaning more on Onodera, would be a nice change from the main girl always winning but that is unlikely. ;_;

Yukiko is best girl in P4G. Rise comes a close second.

Nisekoi: Chitoge
Soma: Erina
Yamada: Odagiri
P4G:
Naoto or Marie

Bet you can't spot the pattern

Yamada

Terribly slow start for this arc. I guess his former douchey friend (Ushio) is a bad guy now? Not that its surprising given that Yamada stole his crush's affections and then rejected her.

yukari is the best persona girl

and yamada is a very un-haremy harem, only like one non-main girl appears for more than like 10 chapters. though this new girl has much potential for unfortunate misunderstandings.

It is Atlus' Final Fantasy, their most popular and profitable series.
Unlike Square though, Atlus continues to make multiple RPGs rather than dump all their eggs into one basket.
If anything, SE's incompetence last gen allowed for Atlus to swoop in and feed an RPG starved audience.

Shit, I'm getting off-topic.
So... how about that One-Punch Man you guys. Sure is great!

LOL You and your tsunderes. Maybe thats why your username is Angry Grimace. ;b

Centaur's Worries 39-40

I'd prefer that tigermen remain extinct. And centaurs need to join them.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. Onodera(s) sucks. e: Wait, the mom's cool.

Tharja > all

UQ Holder looks like it'll be the new major shonen I'll read with other major ones ending pretty soon.

Any guesses on how long the length will be?

100+ chapters with an unsatisfying ending that won't answer any of your questions.

First part is merely conjecture, second part I'm pretty confident will be true.

Beelzebub

Holy fuck that was rushed. I felt like I missed a chapter or something, 2 week break must have gotten to me. This has been ranking horribly in the TOC so it could be in the next cancellation round. Next or the one after.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka 09

I appreciate that the main character realizes his own weakness. Though he did do that a couple chapters ago to, so I was hoping for some change already but maybe this will spark it.

Beelzebub

Yeah, chalk me up with the rest of you guys. Beelzebub was one of my favorite shonen manga because it often forewent tropes and such in favor of ridiculousness and quick fights. Like, how many times did they build something up only for him to knock through it in a chapter? Hell, that was half the fun. Just seeing people react to fights being over in a chapter or two.

But dagnab, they are RUSHING this and it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth. It's not the normal Beelzebub pace, it's a...whatever pace.

Centaur's Worries 39-40

I really do love how this likes to put in twist endings in some of these chapters every now and then. Keeps things nice and interesting.

Nobunaga no Chef 59

Now… now I understand why so many people were willing to follow and support him to their deaths. What a visionary. ;_;7

Yozakura Quartet 72
yozaquart72.png

no we're fucking not

This chapter made me realise another issue with this series, it's just too wordy. It spends several paragraphs repeating the same shit over and over again, poorly trying to explain something to the audience that can and should really only take a couple sentences at most.

I kinda realised this earlier when watching the new anime adaptation (which is amazing) and being kinda blown away in how quickly and effortlessly it explained the multidimensional stuff whilst making it far more understandable than it ever was in this.

tl;dr yasuda a shit

Kingdom 304-305

Holy shit, this dude just fucked everyone so hard.

Another great one-shot from Amagakure Gido. Bittersweet, but refreshing.

Yamada 93

Almost forgot Ushio existed.

31 Heroes

A cockroach kid gets to become a hero thanks to a space alien.

Uh, it was ok. I think the premise was pretty interesting and I like the idea of it. The art and action was pretty messy though which made it hard to follow. So a mixed reaction to this.

It feels like how they had to end Psyren. Odds are the writer got the cancellation notice recently and wants to wrap it up before then.

I think the writer makes a decent effort to tell stories in their manga but they just fail to execute in a competent and entertaining manner. I think they should probably couple with somebody before doing another series.

I don't understand why they would cancel something like Beelzebub or Psyren when there are newer series with even less potential that could be canceled first.

Beelzebub

Ah man, this chapter was intense. It kinda reeks how everyone can tell there trying to wrap Beelebub up. Seeing the last chapter to this chapter, just seems like it's rushed.

One thing I liked about Beelzebub, was how it was in a regular high school setting but had an interesting premise. A guy taking care of a demon lord baby? That sounded pretty promising. Also, I liked how the main character was a delinquent. I always liked the delinquent main character trope.

After Beelzebub ends, I don't know another shounen series I could read weekly. I might catch up to Gintama when Beelzebub ends, but I never laugh at the jokes as much as I do when I watch the manga.

No idea. I'd bet that everything that doesn't have a long running anime is in constant danger of being cancelled.

Psyren makes me especially sad because it could have had an awesome anime.

Toriko

Finally decided to read/watch Toriko and I'm surprised it isn't more popular than it is, the world building in particular is incredible, some of the best I've seen.

The premise of the series seemed silly and put me off for a while but it sure surprised me, currently my favorite 2nd favorite ongoing shounen.(behind HxH of course)

And you just gotta love it whenever Zebra shows up.

Between this, Girls Planetarium, and From Aiu Station on the Hiragana Line, Amagakure Gido is becoming one of my favorite yuri mangaka. Such a cute little story, even if Natsu kinda got the short end of the Kuga stick, heh.

I quite like it, though I will warn you, the most recent stuff has started to get...sorta DBZy. The earlier stuff without power level bullshit is better but it's still pretty unique and interesting. The most recent turns are actually cool cause it's like the Empire Strikes Back of the series, even if it all happened real fast and...confusingly.

Shit just got real. This could go a few ways.
Either the nine arts dragon will try to kill his former disciple or be shocked long enough for his opponent to land the spirit bomb. I've been waiting for this moment since the first chapter

I just started reading TAL. It's an action comedy about a boy that's a young king of superhumans and struggles to balance his normal life with his new status. I recommend it off the strength of the jokes. The action's not bad either.

I do feel this way, but Toriko lacks a real concise storyline. The world itself is fantastic alongside the world building, as is the action sequences, but that's all it has writing home for. There isn't really any real character development, nor is their a grander plot to things. That isn't necessarily a terrible thing, however, as Toriko's focus is primarily the feel of going on an adventure and I think it does that very well with it's massive setting.

Mob

Well that surprised me. I was looking forward to Mob crushing the remaining Claw, but it does seem this was a job for adults haha. Reigan as always is hilarious.
