She does, but its apparently commonplace for country accents to be hidden when in the city. TV Tropes claims this is a real life thing, but idk, I don't live in Japan.

So the end was kind of lackluster, but I still enjoyed it. Surprised it went so quickly into this Quincy arc, which is already keeping pace. It's crazy how terrible Azien + Arrancar arc seems in retrospect after these two.

Maybe it's just a blood shed thing with the shinigami being absolutely wrecked so far, but I'm still really enjoying it.

EDIT: Also . . Kubo knows that's a swastika right?? o__o

I tried reading Ryuta Amazume's Toshiue no Hito but I found it a chore to read. After I reached my motivation for reading it in the first place in the fifth volume, I kinda lost the drive to continue with it, not to mention I found the whole underdeveloped body aspect kinda sleazy. I flipped through the last volume and oh boy will I have to get through some shitty drama to mark this as finished on my list.

I wish Amazume would stop drawing tanned athletic tomboy side-characters so I could stop caring about Nana to Kaoru and we could go our separate ways.

Her's seem more like a Shinigami-esque fullbring. She developed them shortly after her brother attacked (close enough to the "mother is attacked by a hollow" thing) and she has a physical medium that has its own spirits. I think it was likened to Shinigami powers at some point however, thus Shinigami-esque fullbring, maybe it was influenced more by Ichigo's presence or the hogyoku did something or whatever the hell Kubo's decided on now.

... Anyways, yeah, that character's a Manji. And was actually kept in the Adult Swim airing of the Soul Society arc surprisingly.
