Which one was that again? I don't remember a lot of the earlier chapters. I just know that the most recent chapter is the first time I REALLY questioned how it could fly in a shounen magazine.

Toward the Terra (movie)
I haven't read the original manga yet, but can still tell the 2007 TV series was a better adaptation than this (even if it apparently changed some details and added a bunch of stuff to fill in the blanks). It's too rushed and the ending felt more than a little anti-climatic. That said, you can still marvel at the scope of the story, compressed as it is, and there are some nice backgrounds and general design work that definitely shows the benefits of having a film budget.
That's absolutely true about the first Higurashi series, but I think the second series went to great lengths to try and compensate for that by closing the gap.
Higurashi Kai even has an early arc specifically meant to cover some important stuff that the previous TV adaptation didn't address, so I'd say the end result is still worthwhile.

I hope .. I HOPE that this cliffanger will open the gates for a more intresting setting as of now .. seeing mitsuki in all those embarassing moment without any possibility for explanation was getting stale. i hope that the dynamics of thsi show will change starting next episode.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's Episode 4:
Well, that took a bit of time but the new powers are read to roll out.......next episode. Also, dear god the transformations have gotten more disturbing this season as we somehow have more nudity, I do not need to see naked nine year olds ever. Oh, right most of this episode was about the Time and Space squadron adjusting to their civilian covers and trying to show that the Cloud Knights are not really even they are just misguided and are stupid enough to think something called the Book of Darkness is going to grant good wishes. Yea, no, I am looking forward to them being taken down and hauled in front of a judge for their crimes, especially Vita, I have grown to hate her very much.

Hating vita ? i hope your opinion of her ill changer because that would be a FATAL MISTAKE otherwise.
I, for one, loved DokiDoki's ending dancing.
Also, I'm agreeing with all the "Avoid Chaos;Head". I had hopes for that show way back when it was airing. One of the first I watched while it was airing, too. Sadly, its terribleness has never left my mind...
Now it is even less likely to change.

Zafira is clearly the weakest character in term of screen time , followed by shamal . One could argue between vita or signum who is on top but i can't argue here because shard is watching the season right now

Yeah, so I messed up and watched the 3rd episode first (thanks Hulu!). The funny thing is, I didn't feel lost at all, due to the episodic nature. Seems like a fun show, and I especially liked its joke regarding magical transformations, but I'll have to see more of the show to properly judge it (starting with the first two episodes, of course!).

Hahaha good catch. But yeah, I'm already bracing myself with some bullshit with Seiji. Here's hoping he'll get tossed to the side like Daisuke from Fresh.

Although, as far as I remembered, when it came to relationships, the childhood friend has always lost, due to being inferior or not being interested (latter for example would be Honoka and Fujipi).
It's really Blue that should be the focal point.
Blue's off the table. OP shows he has a past with Queen Mirage before she was corrupted or whatever. If he's John Klondike 2.0 I'll set myself on fire.

To be honest, I was a bit surprised to see Seki-kun turn out on top, but since it's a 7-minute show on Sundays I suppose that makes it easy to fit into anyone's schedule. Plus, it's fun to watch.

Nisekoi garners the most people taking the wait-and-see approach, possibly due to the manga's reputation (for good or for bad).

Average-to-positive reception of the season so far, weighted slightly more towards the optimistic side.
A rather large vote of no confidence in Togashi to make anything happen before Madhouse reaches the end. Have they ever stated a reason for the delay? Is it illness, writer's block, or something else?
Aki with a pretty commanding victory here, possibly because she's the only one with a short enough name that Google didn't have to clip it for the pie chart.
In retrospect this was probably an unfair question to ask during a season with Sakura Trick, even if t was asking more about recent history in general, but there you go.

Well Klondike wasn't terrible, he was just NTR'd. Unless you mean the part where he left to guard the freezer to his popsicle for almost the entire second half of the show.

The Steins;Gate VN has only been delayed once by a month, right? The only VN I currently own, besides my preorder for Steins;Gate, is MangaGamer's release of Shuffle! because I wanted to see how the VN routes might have differed from the anime
