But for the same money you can get games that are also great and longer too?
I don't see why people keep bring up this poor argument.
Konami themselves are boasting Lords of Shadow 2's 20+ hour length for almost the same price!
You need to play more stealth games then because MGS has never been better than a second tier stealth game. Speed runs are not how games should be experienced anyway, if people want to waste time doing that that's their problem.
will there be a standalone version of mgs5 for $60?

It is a $20 download for PS360. The version overpriced significantly is the PS4/X1 retail edition.
4 hours of gameplay, 54 hours of cutscenes
eh i am reasonably pleased with the implication the main mission is over two hours at least
MGSV: Ground Zeroes is a standalone game so is MGSV: The Phantom Pain. Ground Zeroes will not be bundled with TPP. KONAMI wants to make money, bundling it won't make them a profit.
MGSV: Ground Zeroes is 20$/30$/40$
MGSV: The Phantom Pain will be 60$

So is this a real 4 hours or is this a Rising 4 hours?
4 hours of gameplay, 54 hours of cutscenes
I wouldn't mind that actually
is this confirmed? going to wait till GOTY edition or they're both heavily discounted.

I'll buy it. Sorry guys, I know I'm part of the problem.
That cinches it. I'm waiting for reviews and GAF impressions, then weighing it over in my own mind.
even if it was 2 hours only, that's 4 times the size of The Tanker mission in MGS2.
yeah well, if it's as tight and enjoyable as the tanker i'll be happyeven if it was 2 hours only, that's 4 times the size of The Tanker mission in MGS2.
Do they have your family hostage?
but people were saying it was the Tanker mission in length. It is obviously not.Which was attached to a whole 5 hours of more gameplay time.
I replayed the Tanker mission tons of times, I see no reason why I wouldn't do the same for Ground Zeroes specially when the game offers a lot more than what the Tanker offered.yeah well, if it's as tight and enjoyable as the tanker i'll be happy
Getting this digitally on Xbox 360, so it'll cost me $20, there have been arcade games that last 1-2 hours with little replay value and cost $15. People seem to be forgetting that the digital pricing is $10 less than the physical pricing.
Xbox 360/PS3 digital: $19.99
Xbone/PS4 digital: $29.99
Buying a physical copy makes no sense.
Nah, it's probably more of a Peace Walker 4 hours.
About what I expected, this is Tanker / Virtuous mission being sold as a stand alone game instead of a prelude to MGSV.
It stinks to be honest, although I'll probably still bite.
A Metal Gear fan would not think about getting another game over an MGS game. That is just stupid. If you really want the game then 20$ on your favourite video game series is not going to hurt you.
Those hypocrites are probably killing to get their hands on a 400$ console yet they aren't willing to pay 40$ on their favourite game series.
it took you 4 hours to complete the Tanker mission? wow you must suck a lot at the games..
are you willing to wait till 2016 for a GOTY edition? Goodluck on not getting the games spoiled.
