Undying is 3/4s fine, I think they just need to rework Soul Rip somewhat because it feels like such a useless skill. I like the idea of making the heal/damage % based, which would help it be more of a late-game skill. Let Tombstone be excellent early and let Soul Rip be excellent late

only thing undying needs imo is slightly better scaling on tombstone hp, maybe 250/500/750/1000 instead of 200/400/600/800.

I'm assuming he said that because of how inconsistent it is. Its really hard to pull of 500heal/damage casts with it. I think a slow on it would be good and even if the heal isn't changed, at least have a small icon showing how much units are near you.

You don't have to pull off 500 all the time for the skill to be strong or effective. 10 units (250 heal/nuke) in a 1000 radius isn't that much considering a few creeps, heroes, +instant zombie spawn after dropping tombstone, and bam, you already have more healing going out than abaddon at no cost to your hp.

Most of the time Soul Rip is like a 100-150 damage nuke for upwards of 100 mana. Its really great if like, both teams are fighting in the middle of a creepwave

soul rip does so much damage/healing on such a short cd at lvl 4 wtf. It scales into late game b/c of its unit limit, its fine as a spell.

Still, for a single target healing, its awfully hard to setup, and you're assuming the zombies won't get killed quickly, which happens all the time even in low level games, they don't even distract players, 30hp is just instant KO and 7 gold for the player killing them. And thats only if they keep fighting inside the radius of the tombstone for 30 seconds so you can cast soul rip a couple of times and then wait another 30 seconds for it be possibly at max strength again.

joinDOTA's capture looks like shit.

Probably just have the in game brightness high and likely looks fine on their monitor settings. Could also have to do with studio lighting, the lighting of a room has a large impact on the optimal settings.

Of course they should use the monitor's settings to adjust for that, not cranking the in-game brightness.
 
but if you buff tombstone it'll become too strong in ability draft when people get tombstone and rearm



it's the shortlist for most broken heroes in 6.79 but veno is trash now so treant should replace him

Veno was always broken, people just don't pay attention.

I don't think Undying falls off that bad late game. Build a Bloodstone and Bladdmail on him and he's almost unkillable. If the game goes into 40+ minutes get a heart. He's one of my favorite heroes and can pretty much fit into any lineup.

As an outsider it seems really difficult to break into that core group of teams in the LCS.

It's a shame they aren't sticking with Dota, good group of guys.

So happy to see Empire back in style again, especially since they have always been one of the most fun teams to watch and mag~ being one of my fav players since the good days of funn1k+him.

Also, did you ever post that new lore for wraith king that valve quietly put out with new bloom, I don't recall seeing it in you patch analysis.

At least MLG runs fine at 1080p in europe, while twitch craps itself at low settings.

I don't know, i can watch high on twitch with very few issues. On mlg i set 720p and it lags, i try setting 480p and it'seven worse.
And then when it's not lagging 720p on the MLG stream looks worse than high on most twitch channels.
