I know Koe no Katachi was licensed by Kodansha USA and I will be there day 1, but how come I can't find any news about it? Google isn't returning any press releases.

Cause it isn't licensed by Kodansha USA?

Unless their tumblr isn't acknowledging it or anyone else in the world isn't acknowledging it.

The only hint is that they along with Vertical have first dibs at licensing it if they choose to but that doesn't mean anything.

Always knew wonzo was a bottom

There is smut, and things have just about gone completely off the rails by the end of volume 5.
You see, I don't read smut for smut, I like how smut manga completely frees itself from the bound of common manga aimed at teenagers, and can express complex and rich storylines filled with interesting characters and everchanging relations between them, true tales of human beings. Which is something Seishun Pop completely lacks at the point I stopped reading.

Who am I kidding

But seriously I'd read anything as long as I find it entertaining, which I didn't in SP. Maybe I'll make an effort and see what later chapters are about

At least those color pages didn't turn all yellow or red or green or blue, like the b/n pages for some raws do.
That's not the raws, it's just BW pages that were printed on the other side of a color page. The magazine prints them in color for whatever reason (I guess it costs them the same as any other color page, so "might as well")

Unless you mean actual color pages that have RGB hue (never saw one like that)

No, I mean black and white pages that get scanned with the weird hue.
Let me post an example:

All the pages are like that.

btw, just another reminder that this thread exists in a weird permissible limbo where the sources are implicitly acknowledged but we should probably not talk about them as much~

Well, that's just what the paper looks like?

So they're like that from the start? When I think about cheap paper, I think about newspapers which at most have a grey-ish hue here. These magazines are even cheaper than I actually thought.

Kinda varies depending on the magazine, but yeah. And I'd say it's a good call.

Well to be fair some of the magazines have a few millions copies printed every week, and they're hundreds of pages long so you get why they want cheap paper.

Not to mention most people don't keep those at all, so using "good" paper would be quite the waste.

Nickelodeon 31

Oh no you don't. Even delicious mono-eye couldn't persuade me to enter a witch's house. Never again.

Doronkyu 1
A 4-koma about girls and ghosts and stuff. Seems like something right up A Huge Battleship's alley.
Correct, and thanks for pointing it out! Unusual and interesting premise for a 4koma series and one of the more amusing ones I've read for a while. I'm more for disturbing ghost moe than light-hearted, adorably frightening ghost moe but the latter's good too.

It has always been... curious for me, how in some threads it's accepted, and in other threads you would be banned for this talk.

One Piece and Naruto are in the same magazine, right?

If so, is there a reason One Piece spoilers tend to appear but not Naruto? Is it just due to the massive popularity of OP?

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

No, it happens the other way around all the time. Its because they're doing a part of OP people care about because it has Sabo.

Black Yome ni Yoroshiku! 1
MC makes a Childhood Promise™ with a shinigami to marry her, then promptly forgets about it until she turns up x years later to 'remind' him. First chapter wasn't anything remarkable, but the prospective waifu in question is a snappy dresser with quasi-yandere tendencies so I'll follow it for that reason alone.

Yamada

More Shiraishi waifu chapters. What happened to the plot from last chapter?
