no, not sure if it would be even possible and when it would cost a fortune. they rather wait till they have to build a new stadium.

The revised schedule is such shit for tomorrow, in a situation where there is supposed to be more rain tomorrow, then matches that result with the winner facing the other should be put on at the same time.
 
Regarding all the Fed hating from the precious page, what specific examples are there of Fed being arrogant/pompous/etc? I personally don't see him that way at all. Especially compared to athletes from other sports. Michael Jordan vs Fed? The latter comes off as relatively polite, soft spoken, and deserving of his fame. He doesn't seem to possess the excess of other athletes.

Murray comes off as more of an ass.

But maybe I'm just that biased. I tend to appreciate tennis players more than other athletes because its the only sport I follow.

Caroline Wozniacki vs. Andrea Petkovic (QF) - not before 3pm, may be moved to Arthur Ashe Stadium

Grandstand - 11am
Donald Young vs. Andy Murray (4th Round)
John Isner vs. Gilles Simon (4th Round)
Angelique Kerber vs. Flavia Pennetta (4th Round)

Two Americans and Nadal playing at the same time? How the hell are they going to cover that? @_@ ESPN2 and Tennis Channel both will be broadcasting simultaneously, so that's at least TWO matches :)
 
hmm, looks like i'll have the TV on while following select matches on espn3 and usopen.org.
 
Don't undertsand how ISner is not on a tv court, they are at least 3 more courts that have tv, just move a fucking Legends doubles match and they better televise the other matches online either usopenlive or espn3.


Edit: Oh my god espn has been talking about Nadull's cramps for over an hour, it's fucking cramping it will not effect you over two days later. goddam.
 
I can't stand watching the ESPN2 coverage, all these bullock opinionated discussions. Yeah Nadal took a while, let it be, it's not like it was over 10 minutes or anything.

And yes, hell they can just get a giant umbrella for this thing, have the poles sitting right in the center of the main courts. It'll be a fun obstacle! Chase Tricker Pole Grandslam!

I liked it better when they showed Connors vs. Krickstein in the Us Open rain delays....

It's nice to see Tipsarevic in the Top 20 and doing so well. I became a fan of his ever since his epic 5 set match against Federer a couple of years ago in the Aussie Open

I would really love it if they played classic matches rather than encores during these delays. I'm such a new fan to tennis, I've totally missed out on some epic matches.

This is what I wonder as well. Do they go past next sunday into the following week? Or do they just use more courts to squeeze in more matches?

neither the 2010 nor the 2009 finals were played on sunday.
 
Wow. This is a clusterfuck. Nadal is pissed and brought Murray and Roddick along with him to echo his sentiments to the officials.

The USTA issued a statement saying that they thought that that had a window of opportunity to play and will listen to players if they don't feel the court is suitable for play....even though Murray said that he told the umpire that the back of the court was still soaking wet.

Yeah... TV guys here are saying that rain is expected nonstop until monday (wtf) It would turn into a disaster. Let's hope the clouds go away.
