Dark Souls

Ohhhh shit, this came out on PC?

Yes, not on Steam, though, sadly. You can buy it from Amazon either through a digital copy (~$15.50) or a physical copy ($6.50). The physical copy has free shipping with Prime. I myself bought the game at a Gamestop a few years back.

I imagine it'd look pretty nice with downsampling (graphics options are only 4 presets btw), but since downsampling is such a hassle with AMD (specifically the tool provided by AMD to wipe the drivers that actually succeeds in fucking up Windows 8), it's not an option for me.

Thanks! Here's a few more.

Awesome chivalry shots btw Neo! Could you take a few more action shots with blood : ) I just love the gore and dismemberments in that game!

I'll try and remember that =) I focused on that a bit in my first batch. I was trying to get creative this last time. And grab a few more scenery shots. There's some nice level design here. Just wish I could get bots to use it all.

I don't think that chromatic abberation effect works in screenshots as well as it might do in-game. It works in Crysis 3 quite well.

I really wish the rock textures were better. Some sharpening from sweetfx might have helped too.

Also do you guys like the cropped version of the first one better?
Personally, I like the first one [above] better...seems more balanced.

Try multiplayer, there are a number of really nice maps that aren't available when running a local server - this one with the castle is one of my favorites (can't remember the name of it atm).

Protect the gate.

Defender

One of the drawbacks though is that you can't pause the action to get that perfect shot...but then again that keeps you on your toes.

I was going to quote a few nice shots, but then there were a bunch, so.. good shit everybody!

I don't entirely mind the CA in Payday 2, but it doesn't entirely make sense with it on the whole image. The color palette of the game is refreshing.

You guys should send some of your Dark Souls shots to the dev and go "Did you even know your game could look this good?"

I don't mind CA so long as you have to look really hard to notice it. I don't understand what the effect is doing in this game at all.

Methinks they'll have to make that an option, along with FOV, before I give it a try.

I'll play mutliplayer but I won't bother with screenshots there. Too hard to go from timestop and complete control over the camera to hectic multiplayer chaos where good screenshots are complete luck. It's definitely a fun game... even though I suck at it.

Just a flesh wound!

This shot I below I posted already. It's one of my favorites from the game but that stupid tree texture at the top ruins it. I tried to photoshop it out but no dice. I'm not good enough to keep it from being obvious.

For shots like this one do you use a timestop mod or do you just mash the screensot button and pray ?

Press F2 to record, then go to Video Editor on the cellphone. Load up a video clip, I think you press H to get rid of the video editor hud, then just take some screenshots.
You lose motion blur, but DoF still works :)

You're welcome :)
The video editor does have some weird bugs, but I'm sure you'll figure them out.
(for example, rewinding a bit makes effects, like those sparks, disappear... just rewind more to before the effects happen, let it play and the effects appear again)
