Come on now. Viva Piñata and Kameo are great games produced by Rare while owned by Microsoft.I really hope so.
Mainly because I want to believe that Rare is a good studio still, but since they've stopped collaborating with Nintendo, I've only seen that they aren't. Which bums me out.
That's way more than I thought. Rare... redeemed?!
They've probably developed incredibly thick skins at this point.I doubt they're that bothered about "doubters", no point trying to please people who will never come round.
Don't be silly, Rare are dead and all the new hires they got are untalented because the people that were at Rare 10+ years ago are the only talented people in the industry!
MS registered a new trademark for Battletoads late last year if that makes you feel better.I'm sad to see so many canker and banjo post and no nes ips mentioned.
Nintendo bought Rare back and they're making Banjo Threeie on the Wii U =D

No, but maybe the Wii U can save Rare. Not even Rare can save the WiiU.
And there's this. I hate all the 'Rare is dead' posts. Must be shit reading them if you actually work there.
Meh, it better be a new Blast Corps or color me unimpressed!

Why would they make another Blast Corps? They are better off using its gameplay elements in another game.
i wish i got to play JFG when i had an N64, looked cool
This is ridiculously subjective. Many of us would absolutely love a new Blast Corps. With the technology in today's systems? A game like Blast Corps where your entire goal is just to use machinery to destroy things?

Well, what people mean by that is that Rare don't make games like Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, Diddy Kong Racing, Conker's Bad Fury Day, Donkey Kong Country and Blast Corps anymore.

Interesting that some are associating the mere notes with a Banjo hint. 6 months ago the same Robin Beanland posted this on Twitter:

And 4 days later, this:

They can let Conker drive the vehicles!... Banjo is piloting the mecha though!

I got my very talented composer friend of mine to play the contents of that tweet...here it is!
A prize to the person that can work it out!

Whilst you are there why don't you have a listen to some of his other work, I'd recommend

The prospect of Banjo coming back now just reminds me of the sheer stupidity of Nintendo selling Rareware during the GameCube era. You give up all those IP's (Banjo, Conker, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemeni) and an experienced FPS developer for what? Money, something you've got plenty of. Stupid. I look forward to what Rare produces this go-round.
