Yet in the kierin cycling the judges couldn't DQ anyone because they couldn't find a clear picture. You'd think the onus should be on the judges to back up a verbal call with video evidence rather than pushing that into the appealing side

The box thing seems like bullshit though - even though the exact position of his feet wasn't clear, it seemed like most of the other runners around him were similarly straddling or behind the line

This triathlon race is coming down the wire. Getting interesting lol

I saw that last night as well how the US men's 4x100 relay has basically been god awful for 20 years. To have a 50% chance of a DQ is unacceptable and they need to change that.

Sounds like Japan was flawless running that and if they had slightly faster runners they could have even beaten Jamaica.

They would have had a shot if their runners had times like the US did.

I think they were ahead/neck to neck with Jamaica until Bolt did his victory lap.

Bolt is the new prototype for sprinters. 6'5" 220lbs as opposed to 5'9, 170lbs. The smaller guys can still run fast, but not as fast as the taller guy.

agreed, from what I saw our foot wasn't clear but some of the other runners were were blatantly obviously behind that line
