It's not a "unknown" site but it is small. And it's claim to fame, from what I gather, is having the list of English names for the 4th gen games.

Edit, the thing that annoys me is that the site has SO many questionable images and zero "proof" as of now. The closest may be that cat and unless he said that came from the same source then its pretty moot in the debate over the starters.
 
Here's a possible idea on where Pokexperto is getting this information. This is a comment posted on one of their posts...

Based on what I said a friend who works at Club Nintendo Magazine from Mexico, I get a document where you see the artwork of Pokemon, the name in kanji, the type and method of evolution. Surely Pokexperto member who works at Nintendo Action received this document from NoE.
According to my friend, NoA forbade them to display this information before the Pokemon were revealed in Japan.
The idea was to show after the release for players to get used [because until you beat the game you can not see the old pokes]. Nintendo had already done this in the 2nd generation of Mexico and Club Nintendo revealed the pokemon.
For so here in Pokexperto not aware of the stats, or skills or attacks. Only know details such as appearance, the type and developments.

Not sure how true it is, but it does seem like all that Pokexperto has are the name, a sprite, type, and evolutions for each Pokemon.

Regardless, I feel like all of this just makes sense to me. There may not be concrete proof that it's real (or really any real proof at all), but it just makes sense to me and so I believe it. It could be fake obviously, but I'm in the believer crowd right now.

I have to say, what would make my squeal, is if GF adds a GB Music Player ala HGSS, so we can have 8-bit classic-sounding Pokemon music, there's just that sort of charm of those old tunes that feels lost from RS onward. :(

Hell, those tunes were my first real exposure to 8-bit music, I pretty much only played on SNES and then the N64 before I first played an 8-bit game, that being Pokemon (I was young, okay?) :lol

No. I just usually have a good sense of telling if things are real or not. And while there isn't much evidence that it's real, I just have a feeling that it is. Like I said, I could be wrong, but I don't see anything that would prove this whole thing fake either. It's just best to wait and see at this point. We're bound to get some confirmed leaks within days anyways from CoroCoro or elsewhere that will hopefully confirm/deny these rumors for good.
