One of the biggest things I took away from the 2nd gen remakes was just how badly the starter Pokemon are outclassed by damn near anything else of their type.

I want something vague that gives me an idea of what we know without spoiling the in-game surprises:

- Some new 'mons revealed (no pics or names)
- Some new evos/pre-evos of older 'mons (not naming names)
- Starter evos revealed
- A new mini game to make pokecroissants to (I dunno) help your pokemon win poke-synchronised swimming contests
- 3DS/DSi enhancement confirmed
- No HMs confirmed
- Infinite TMs work like this:

Well, they did show a video of the character surfing around like he does in every other game, so it's logical to say that HMs are still in it.

I think HMs should be integrated into TMs, usable moves in battle but also have effects on the overworld.

No worries. I just wish I had a way of finding this stuff out without spoiling the game for myself. Once it comes out in Japan, all bets are off and I'll have to go into full blackout mode. I just want them to confirm how the TM/HM system will work.

- An image of the starter evos has been shown. It was first thought to be real, then some guy came along and said it was fake, then some other dude said that they were actually real, and then some other dude came out and said they were fake again. So we really don't know.
- Some new Pokemon have been revealed / leaked, this is true
- Pokemon musicals have been confirmed (not sure if this was since the last thread or not), they're basically Pokemon contests but I don't think we know exactly how they work
- HMs have neither been confirmed nor deconfirmed, but video has shown a Pokemon using Surf (or some equivalent) outside of battle, so it seems they are in

The art actually doesn't match up 100% (the tips of Smugleaf's tail leaf are curved in the fake and straight in the spreadsheet because the faker mistook the guy's pant leg as part of the tail line for example) but thats another story.

The line to the side of Smugleaf's evolve has been raising some eyebrows for some time now and someone pointed out how it looks like Wotter's head and made a LQ MS paint showing it.

I just took the evolve into PS, scaled it down to the scale of the spreadsheet and matched the line up to make that pic. Posted it on /tr/ after I put them all together to make a clear gradation seeing as IDK how to animate a gif in PS. It fits perfectly and there would be NO reason for that line to be there if this was official art not copied from the spreadsheet.

I've secretly agreed with everything you have said before but this takes the biscuit, Gen 3 was easily the most craptastic generation of pokemon ever, Gen 2 had such awesomeness as lugia, miltank, suicune and tyranitar, the only Gen 3 pokemon I can honestly say I liked was Ludicolo (also Gen 3 is the only Gen with no Eevee evolutions which makes it an instant fail)

In that vid posted with the 2 new poke's it gives the impression that he fights it and catches it, i'll catch up with the episodes i've missed (not watched for about 3 weeks) obviously in the last series he had 2 of the starters so not beyond the realms of possibility that he will have water and grass this series and his travelling partners will end up with the fire.

I meant to elaborate on the grass starter more but my manager walked over so it was a fast post :lol

This is the PokemonPia Magazine that will give people the chance to catch one of the original 3 starters with alternate abilities. Now that we can see the cover in higher quality, it is now possible to make out that it says “The adventure’s setting is New York!?” which suggests that on the inside there will be more details upon purchasing and reading.

Though the “?” means that its not stated explicitly, being an official magazine this makes it as good as confirmed. Can you honestly see it going any other way if this is on the front?

This comes as no shock, many of us were able to figure it out ages ago!

It's not them "speculating" (the website you linked to is speculating about whats in the mag based on the cover though) it's them advertising the content inside their mag which has a interview with Masuda. Think of them as a completely blank sheet of paper . . . notice how they didn't bring up the internet debate over New York and China. Now why would they randomly bring up New York if instead of talking about the internet debate they are advertising the content in the Mag?
