3 new Pokemon Black/White videos from JP Nintendo Channel

For the most part I really dont like the starters Evos. While the grass starters final form is cool, his second is uninspired. Fire...well...Yeah. Not so great IMO. Water? First form is awkward as anything, second is really good and his final is stuff lifeless and bad looking.

Im still hoping these somehow turn out to be fake, but it looks like they are real. Man do I prefer the style of the first two generations. For the most part everything seemed much more organic and not so over designed.

Remoraid, Trapinch line, and alt-evo's like Froslass and the Gloom alt were always weird evos to me.

They aren't 100% confirmed just yet. I like the final evo of Mijumaru, but not as it's evo. If it was a standalone Pokémon ala Absol it would be kick ass.

Pokabu's supposed evo line looks pretty good if you ask me. I was planning on getting a Fire starter this time around, and if those evolutions are real, then it's not changing my plans at all.

I like em (and I'm gonna assume they're real for now)

That's about it. It's the only gen since gen 1 where I like all the final 3 evolutions (even if I still don't like all 3 chains like in gen 1).

- Wotter's final evo is insane and different, but it doesn't break away any rules that must not be broken. It's still a legitimate evolution and it makes Wotter look cooler, and that's all there is to it.

- Pokabu's 3rd evolution is what I wanted pretty much (big and badass with some weird ancient-lookin decorations) so that's that. This guy's the best and Wotter's final also looks awesome.

- Smugleaf's looking way better than its pre-evolutions even if it's a little overdone, I think it's as good as it can get after that second evolution.

I'll be using all 3 (since I'm playing all 3 games) so I just need to decide which order now.
I can't say anything about their types really, which is totally a good thing.

I think the fire evolutions look good, even though the scale between them looks off in the picture. The grass ones are predictable but decent, but the final water one is hideous. It has nothing to do with the starter. The drawings don't look as good as the official art, so if these are real designs, hopefully the sprites and actual art look better. The colouring on the grass and water ones is a mess.

I thought these were confirmed fake?

Apparently some source, that has been spot on in the past, is now claiming these are real. We'll find out soon enough, I suppose.

Hmm... Fair enough. :)

UPD: I’m adding a disclaimer to this post that they MAY still be real. The guy who “confessed” really had no proof and Pokexperto apparently has inside knowledge that they are real. I can already sense a huge backlash at my site if they are confirmed as real :|
Yap.

Anyways assuming they're real I'm going with smugleaf. Planned it from the beginning and his final evo looks pretty badass. Fire pig looks pretty cool as well. Not too fond of wotter's evo.

They're pretty fucking hideous, so I'm hoping they're fake.

OT but my 4 year old sister won me a Piplup plushie from a quarter crane game at Wal Mart last night. :D

I'm hoping these are fake despite liking smugleaf's final evo, solely for piglit's sake, that fire evo line just looks atrocious imo. Wotter's own looks ok despite the final seeming way out there compared to its previous forms, though other pokemon do that as well so it would be ok.

I wasent really into the Fire Starters final form at first but i've warmed up to it. If it's really the real final evolution i'll be sticking with the pig.

More like 95% chance they're fake. This is like that sadfish thing all over again.

Not really. Serebii seems convinced they're legit, and his inside sources are rarely wrong. And then there's the whole IP thing.

The sadfish incident was the result of Serebii jumping the gun without checking with his sources.

The problem here is that the fakers have the advantage of the anime spread sheet and feed us 2 evos we have seen but for the ones we havent some thing feels of specially pokabu.

I haven't seen the pics you guys are talking about, but I can only take this as a positive. I'm due for picking the water starter (went grass in DPPt, went fire in HGSS), but that's only happening if this thing's evolutions are an order of magnitude less stupid than its base form.

And to the evolution thing I say:

This whole situation stinks of nonsense. These aren't even good fakes, his sources would've contacted him quick as hell instead of going for quite some time with unconfirmed things on his site.

Fake, as we'll find out in 12 days.

Pokabu's second stage (little Hercules) looks extremely convincing. Its drawing style just has that quality to it that makes me believe it is real.

Also, there is precedent for water types to evolve into something completely different (Octillery, the Huntail/Gorebyss family, Gyarados, Surskit, Milotic), so Mijumaru wouldn't be unique in that sense.

Mijumaru's final evo it what makes me suspicious. His final form has 4 legs but the middle evo gives no indication that was going to happen.

There's no such precedent for water starters, which is what matters.

joetachi nailed it when he mentioned that the fakers are using the leaked Stage 1s for Tsutaaja and Mijumaru from the character sheet to make their fakes seem legit.

only to prove these ugly things fake

Agreed.

Like Blaziken?
Blaziken didn't drop down onto all fours, randomly darken in a color wholly opposite of its first form, or grow random things on it.

That's one of the most glaring examples of this being fake. Mijumaru has that little fur thing covering some of his white body. Why would his second form, which has that "wrap" cover less of his body, be that darker color? He wouldn't, he'd just have more white exposed.

Man if those pokemons are real,I expect a new wave of rose tinted glasses pokefans to hit the web :lol
Personaly I don't think they're that bad.
They are better than Gen 3 IMO.
