What'd MS do? The warranty, that fixes the problem, right? Does it send out Peter Moore pixie fairies across the country to install heatsinks and remove red rings? No, it's a band-aid, it fixes nothing and it counts on your system dying.
Mine was 31 days, you're also proof there's a large issue out there since you were able to easily buy so many dead systems.
