Yeesh, tough benchmark.
My 200 watt limit had something to do with as well, I'd imagine. The frequency was a good 150+mhz below what games are. Roughly 2600ish instead 2760-2790. And stay pegged at 200-205.Strange that is drops so much from 4090 to 4080 to 4070.
Not too surprising. Those synthetic benchmarks are fantastic at leveraging computer resources and you'll see raw compute scale much better in them. For instance, SLI in 3DMark had a scaling of around 90% which almost never happened in games. I still grieve the death of multi-gpu support. I know CDPR would have supported it for CP2077 as TW3 has excellent scaling with SLI, like 80%. Imagine Two 4090s using path tracing. Native 4K would be feasible.Strange that is drops so much from 4090 to 4080 to 4070.
whats the resolution thoughCool. Running it now. 5600X and RTX 4080
4k. You have to run the default benchmark to get a score. If you change rez or settings you dont get one.whats the resolution though
whats the resolution though
Now post your stress tests
Is your PC stable?
damn im getting a measly 3800 and 40fps on 4070, the jump is insaneYeah, 4K for me.
Eh, at $3, why not? It's not very good but hopefully, they can make it better.Looks like 3dMark is on sale for $8.75.
Is Storage Benchmark worth the extra 3 bucks at $11.74?
Yes, sir.Now post your stress tests
Is your PC stable?
RTX 3080 12 GB.
10700k + 32gb 4ghz memory + rtx 3090 (core undervolted and memory OC'd to 3090 Ti speeds)
Spec and OC settings plz godly score
It's not that godly. Run the test in Vulkan and not DX12 and watch your score go upSpec and OC settings plz godly score
What CPU do you have?
Welp, I guess this is the best a 3090 can do in 2024 huh. I'm ready for that 5090 now Jensen, you can drop that whenever you feel like it. Any day now...
5800X3D but this benchmark is 100% GPU limitedWhat CPU do you have?
Dx12 overhead confirmed?Run the test in Vulkan and not DX12 and watch your score go up

RTX4090 and Ryzen 5900X, 32GB RAM.
Now that I see folks overclocking I'm going to overclock my card and rerun it.Nice
Here's an updated score for me. +210 core +1125 mem
Do you honestly need to OC anymore? With the boosting I can't see any reason too.I hate that 3dmark is intel biased…still useful to test OC and stability
3D Mark introduces Steel Nomad, high-end non-ray traced cross-platform PC benchmark downloadable for free
I'm asking why they didn't add ray tracing. Is it to prevent the graphics cards(especially non-nvidia ones) from crying?
That was more tongue-n-cheek. ;PI'm asking why they didn't add ray tracing. Is it to prevent the graphics cards(especially non-nvidia ones) from crying?
They have another ray traced benchmark called Port Royal.I'm asking why they didn't add ray tracing. Is it to prevent the graphics cards(especially non-nvidia ones) from crying?
Indeed, as well as Speedway. They have another ray traced benchmark called Port Royal.
