When did Nintendo say they were coming out with a new 3DS? I thought Miyamoto said no revisions/upgrades are planned at E3 because they were focused on the next big handheld.
Well to be fair, this is the next big handheld.

He's right you know.Well to be fair, this is the next big handheld.
Its not standard in the 3DS so it's ok not to include but it's stupid not to include something that is required like AC adapter (not NA) or memory (Vita)Dual analog gameplay standard >>>>>>>> 4gb Memory Card
I'm an American, so I have no sympathy for anyone or anything lol
Besides I'm sure Nintendo will offer them for free if enough people complain.
Tons of devices in Japan don't come with a charger. So they're making us BEG for the ability to charge up the device?
I can't bend my mind around this. Even the cheap mainland Chinese android pads haven't resorted to this level of cheapness.

It has a charger everywhere else. Why are you upset?
Didn't know that - what is NoE doing.North America is actually the only region actually getting 3DS XL with a charger. Japan, and Europe are not.
Well they didn't have to do it.
In a day and age where every company is out to save money and cut out costs(especially Nintendo), it's nice to see once in awhile...
It's 2012. Every game system released since the original Xbox should give its users a way to save and store at no additional cost.
You missed the point buddy...
Re-read and think about it.
A 4gb sd card doesn't cost anything though.
Didn't know that - what is NoE doing.
You mean something I can order for 5 bucks on Amazon?
OH MY GOD NINTENDO DOES YOUR GENEROSITY KNOW NO BOUNDS!!!!
Thanks god SD card are quite cheap.Probably going to want at least a 16 for the new downloadable future.
Well to be fair, this is the next big handheld.
What point did he miss. Sure, you're right, they didn't have to do it. But Speev's right too; everyone at this point should be doing it.
Guys, the vita doesn't use sd/sdhc cards.Kinda nice, probably really want to push eShop and digital downloads. Still amazed that Nintendo is giving us day one digital copies to buy.
Not if you're Sony.
Guys, the vita doesn't use sd/sdhc cards.
Being a proprietary card, it means that it isnt produced in huge quantities like SD cards, so it (Vita cards) probably cost more to produce. How much more however, no idea.Tell that Sony
Sony expects Vita owners to also own a PS3. Nintendo expects 3DS XL owners to own a 3DS.
And yet they didn't bother to pack in an AC adapter.
Comes with an AC adapter in the US....
Probably Europe too.
You gotta admit that no AC adapter in the pack is a major scam. When have we seen any other electronics device NOT come with power? The ability of some people to bad-mouth almost everything Nintendo does is quite remarkable
They could give out 3DSs for free and people would still complain

Looks like Nintendo is doubling the sd card memory capacity for the XL !
Very generous to bundle 4GB with every system
Unlike a rival portable system that requires you to buy a system game bundle to get the 4GB memory card.
but nintendo does not include ac adaptor in certain regions, unlike a rival portable sytem and isn't region free either
If they give out AC adapters for free, I won't complain.
3DS wasn't region free, so this doesn't come as a surprise. And a AC adapter costs £3-4. Bad move by Nintendo, but Sony is worse with the memory cards. There's a chance people already have a 3DS, DSi or DSi XL, but with Vita, I have two PSP's, but none of the MSPDuo's work![]()

I'll try to remember that. Thanks. They don't use SD cards so they can make more off of peripheral sales. Don't give them any credit for that.
It's plausible that part of why they're doing this is that they released three systems (DSi, DSi XL, 3DS) that included this charger, and so to be greener they skip on this one. In contrast the Vita is the first instance of this charger, and thus MUST include it with every new system. Wouldn't surprise me if a Vita revision dumped it.Unlike said rival portable system that includes a charger in the box even if you live outside the US.

This is how it's done, Sony.
Not according to sony.A 4gb sd card doesn't cost anything though.
Not in the UK it won't apparently. Which likely means not in Aussie/NZ. Very, very stupid move. I would feel like a mug buying a console and having to buy the adapter separately. Worse than the vita...just.
How much does it cost? Not according to sony.
guess Nintendo must have converted all those 4GB cards Sony is not going to be including in their AC Liberation bundle. Really bad optics on this for Sony.
Are you being serious right now?
But the Vita doesn't use SD cards, it uses some magical super-card and that's why the prices have to be so expensive!
Or so I was told.
Ask google. How much does it cost?
And omitting an AC adaptor? Generous? I couldn't give a fuck about £3 worth of memory, and I know an AC adaptor won't be much more, but you literally need the adaptor. It's absolute lunacy.Very generous to bundle 4GB with every system
I tried, but i didnt find any Sony branded 4GB SD cards for sale.Ask google.
So? For consumers it'd be more. There's also the convenience of not buying it separately.A 4GB SD card probably costs $0.50-$1 in bulk.
I've heard Google cannot help when one is being intentionally naive.I tried, but i didnt find any Sony branded 4GB SD cards for sale.
