That Power Glove track is a part of the same comic book project too.

Reminds me of Streetsharks, but more kickass.

Noisepurge - You're Vanguard Orbiter on Spotify, right? Been following since I first saw this post and love the stuff. I play "radio" based off your channel and the hours of work fly away. Thanks again!

Oh my, so much good stuff. Listening to that Cryp EP from New Retro Wave at the moment and loving it. Will get to the other stuff later today as well.

yeah i know, i'm overloaded over here already :D
Trying to be the Curator of Retrowave is difficult task around these days when there's a new great EP or track collection coming every 15 minutes :D

Want to support these guys too so my wallet keeps getting lighter: https://bandcamp.com/noisepurge

Dance with the Dead got the Bandcamp version of the amazing album out already!

OH! and i just saw You're Next. That movie is so Hotline Miami even the soundtrack started to kick up some 80's beats near the end. So GOOD! Too bad the album isn't available online yet. Go see it if you have a chance!

Alpha Boy's new album came out today!

Megapost!

Kris Menace's Live set in Barcelona can be found on Spotify atleast, it's more trancey than my norm but wouldn't be that out of place in a disco in Deus Ex! :D really good 80's synthbeats can still be found.

I know he's been mentioned quite a bit but I finally bought Perturbator's "I Am The Night" record and wooo boy what an album.

I can't wait for his next album. Here is what he posted about it last August:

Perturbator said:
"It'll be called "Dangerous Days". You guys can see it as a sequel of "I Am The Night". I won't spoil anything yet but it's by far my most brutal one, being more darksynth - electro oriented than others. Don't worry it has a lot to offer though, like new vocal tracks aswell as sci-fi soundtracky sounds and even an 8 minutes long synth odyssey.

Yes, it will feature the complete and official version of Future Club. Yes, it has a plot pretty much like Sexualizer (involving robots and satanism set in Nocturne City, all the stuff you guys love) and yes, it will be my first physical release Unfortunately i can give you a release date yet, i still have a lot to do with this album but i hope you guys are looking forward to it."

"Most brutal one", "more darksyth" and "8 minutes long synth odyssey" all sound good to me.

Also, everyone in this thread owes it to themselves to watch this tech noir short film scored by none other than Perturbator:

I also want to sing my praises for Dance With The Dead. Wow! Such an amazing album. Almost didn't check it out, but now I'm glad I did.

Will need to check out the other albums in this thread. Good stuff!

There's so much of this 80s revival stuff now it's getting really hard for stuff to stand out. Le Matos' new album "Join Us" is a really great hidden gem, since I don't seem to see them mentioned here or very often when it comes to this genre. I discovered Carpenter Brut (only knew about him through Perturbator), Kuedo and Fuck Buttons through this thread, so thanks for those

Here's some youtube links... the whole album is pretty great though.
2. Interceptor
3. Overdog
7. Light Again (ft. Electric Youth) (omg this song...)
10. Sarah

posted just 10 posts above ;D

but yeah, there is a lot of this stuff and as they are mainly just one guy in a basement somewhere in the world they are hard to find! :D

I hope Archer's Season 5 has some tight Retrowave! :D

Not to blow my own trumpet, but some people might be interested! I made a 3 track EP last year influenced by all this sort of stuff, mixed with some chiptune-esque melodies for good measure :)

Fhloston Paradise is the most 80's synthpop track, mainly inspired by Miami Nights 1984.
I have a few others I'm finishing up over the holidays.

I have some free codes on my bandcamp if anyone is interested in downloading them (not fussed about the money since it's just a hobby).

Hope you enjoy!

Lazerhawk's Skull and Shark is just too damn good. Been listening to it for the past week. Definitely going to buy it on bandcamp to support them.
