As much as I want to since it's right next door.... I kinda wonder how it is still up and not sold out yet....

Yeah, same here. I'm half expecting it to be cancelled or delayed but I was willing to give it a shot. However I didn't know they charged right away unlike Amazon and so am kinda annoyed.

Well I meant with shipping. Wal-Mart has Saturday shipping. Amazon has Monday shipping. I don't intend on being home on Saturday to pick it up though so the point is moot.
Amazon had about an hours worth of stock. Wal-Mart probably has equal to or more. I'm gonna hit up a couple of stores for deals anyway, see if they have any. If they do, I'll just buy there and cancel Amazon.

PSA to anyone who ordered Sam's Club and then got Walmart/Best Buy/GameStop and wants to cancel the Sam's Club order:
Sam's Club's website won't let you cancel an order if it's been over 1 hour since you ordered! Pretty nuts, but their site says you can call customer service to cancel if it's been that long. I called (since I ordered both Walmart and GameStop as well, and planning on using Walmart as the safety until GameStop ships) as customer service said it was "too soon" to cancel the order, but that I could call back tomorrow and do it then.

Got the black version on Bestbuy.com. Wanted the white, but was sold out.
Glad I live on the other side of the world. It's 10 am here now. Even with international shipping it will still be much cheaper than buying locally.
Amazon is really lenient about returns, so I would keep the Amazon order just to be safe!

Snagged mine from Best Buy along with some other 3DS goodies! Hope you all who missed it get some luck at Target, TRU, or Gamestop.
I saw the regular New 3DS screen protector posts above, so thank you all for that! I found the first one but did not see the "UV filter" line, so that likely saved me some annoyance. Hori is always preferred!
Now, beyond screen protectors I always use silicone skins/cases. I've been looking for some for the New 3DS with no success. Anyone use one or know a good place to find one?
Edit: Talking about accessories, I had no idea they had charging cradles in Japan for the New 3DS line. They look great, but for the regular they are only in white, teal, and pink. And I got the black New 3DS, so none of those would look good at all. Black is apparently only for the XL/LL cradle.
