I think the dev cites the iPhone music player as his influence. The only thing stopping me from taking the plunge is audiobook management, does anyone know if its on a par with the iPhone music player? I rely on it with all my audiobooks 
Also thought I would mention SlideIT, which is a replacement keyboard similar to Swype and is available on the market as a free trial and a paid app. I actually prefer SlideIT to Swype (and the fact that I don't have to jump through stupid beta signup hoops to get the .apk file...) Works on all Android versions, give it a shot.

Don't forget to go into your Settings > Language & Keyboard menu and turn the keyboard on, then when you see a text box long-press and select Input Method then choose SlideIT.
