How do I activate flash? I went to homestarrunner, and I'm getting the cube that I need flash to view it?

You need to download it from the Market, and I assume it only works with stock browser? I have not download it so I can't try it with xScope.

Umm i don't know what they're talking about with the second flashing thing, so I'll hold off until the official release.

That's a smart thing to do. I don't flash/update my phone unless I'm 100% sure of what I'm doing

what do i need to download?

Flash Player 10.1 BETA. Search Adobe in the Market, second or third one I think

E: Only downside so far, like a previous poster I get a grey image in messaging. You'd think Google would use your Google profile image or something.

So is the solution to add myself as a contact?

Nope. I'm sure we will get an update within a week or so to fix that.

Holding down home bring up the 8 most recent apps...the transition is very smooth.
Yea, we need the launcher be that smooth.

Can anyone confirm that Flash 10.1 works with all browsers installed and not just the stock? I use Dolphin HD personally.

Doesn't work with xScope...just tried it. Switch the user agent to "Computer" and I got the little blue square telling me to download Flash while trying to watch a youtube video. :lol

Anyone know if Froyo is running on the Droid yet? Is it just working on the Nexus One?

What would be a good forum to find discussion on the topic?

Can anyone check Dolphin HD for flash support. Also does this mean we are going to see Flash based games hit the Market. I guess I will no longer need to have to convert Flash videos anymore. I just wish the consoles would get their act together.

Love 2.2, with a few minor "annoyances."

The Chrome to Phone extension just gives me:

"Error: Server Error

The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."

Also, I can't find Fandango or CallTrack in the market for some reason.

Just flashed cyanogen on my G1. Is there no way to sync my google account with it? I can't get into any of the google apps.

You need to flash the Google apps pack separately. They're not included for legal reasons.

Anyone having problems with 2.2 and Dolphin Browser HD? Whenever I try to manually enter a URL it FC's on me. Going through bookmarks works fine but tapping the address bar will FC.

Am I the only one?

I love this part:
OS. One of the issues Microsoft had with Windows Mobile was that as all partners were paying to be part of the ecosystem and license the platform and all were treated equally -- which wasn't necessarily a good thing. Some WinMo vendors produced great devices, while many others produced mediocre devices that made the platform look bad. Some couldn't keep pace with others, forcing Microsoft to sometimes delay key releases so partners could absorb them and create the hardware needed for them.
Android isn't summer camp for handset vendors and not everyone gets a trophy for showing up.

Google has a different view. Android isn't summer camp for handset vendors and not everyone gets get a trophy for showing up. Google is treating partners equally, but will not slow the rate of innovation so weaker players can keep up. By constantly raising the bar, both in terms of reference devices and software, Google aims to keep innovating and drive that innovation as a differentiator. Google wasn't looking for volume sales with the Nexus One, it was looking to raise the hardware bar -- and arguably the best way to do that is to do it yourself.

Because im Puerto Rican :lol
Just curious, what does being Puerto Rican have to do with the long little finger nail thing?

I've seen Vietnamese guys with this too.

It's creepy... what the hell is it for? A little bit of femininity or is it just a coke shovel?
