I dunno, I've seen articles about several dozen, several hundred, several thousand being arrested over the past two years. The media doesn't report much on it because it was one of Trumps clear stances from the beginning of the presidency. Can't celebrate children being rescued and sickos being locked away when it might accidentally make the "Orangutang-in-Chief" look good, now can we?

Seems to me that the issue is enforcement of our laws, not a disparity between the number of those who act on it and the ones who just suffer the deviant thoughts. I'll go as far to say that -- at least in the USA -- the past several presidencies have utterly dropped the ball when it comes to rising global slavery and sex-trafficing which may account for the low arrest rates you're referring to.

I do not think this is the right thing to do. the best thing IMO is to make people cope and realize what they have, why they have it and why they never should act on it and also they need to understand that they can get help to get through life without becoming a "monster"

@thread - this is obviously a highly charged topic and aside from a page where tensions were frayed, it has seemed to get back on topic. Can we reign back the emotional and personal investment in the positioning of your viewpoints. This should largely be a hypothetical and philosophical debate; anyone getting too involved or fist smashing their lectern will rightfully raise red flags and may be ejected permanently.


For those erring on the side of disgust, also bear the highlighted in mind. Not every topic is something that can be grasped simply and some require us to look through the lens at human morality in general, however dirty it may be. Some people like to play devil's advocate to see what or how society copes with these issues, purely from the mentioned point of view.

I do not know why he was banned but it seems he has the same opinion as I have. Which also could be because we are both German and treat mental disorders or mental illnes a bit differently than in the US. So Yeah I guess you can also call me pedo apologist because I want to help people who suffer from this disorder/mental illness. to also prevent child abuse as well.

I am 37 and still watch Animes made for children and teens (example one piece) but this does not mean anything at all. Which is pretty funny while using a moogle as avatar picture to be honest.

PS: My best friend is a grown ass man and watches my little pony and while I will never understand it I will still not judge him based on what tv shows he is watching.

I do not think that you are open minded when you try to judge people based on their avatars. And for you Youtube history. This video is on a Channel which features a ton of life stories about different people of all kind and diversity. You will not get some "pedo" videos because you watch a real documentary.
