What Japan needs are "anti-Otaku" measures. Programs to re-socialize those people. VR is only gonna make things so much worse.

Japanese birthrates are exactly what you'd expect from a 1st-world country with extremely low immigration rates. There's no indication that it's caused by "crazy otaku stuff."

While I do understand where you're coming from, I would like to respectfully disagree. While I can certainly say I have a bias on the other side, I don't see why you necessarily feel the need to impose your lifestyle beliefs on others as long as what they are doing in no way affects you.
