apparently Gravity Rush Remastered is a rare game now

I was wondering why this wasn't availible on gamefly. I own the vita version, but I really wanted to play the PS4 version before going for Gravity Rush 2. Looks like my only option is to go with the digital version, despite preferring to own or rent physical copies.

Will this affect the price of Gravity Rush 2? I was waiting for a sale to get it but idk if I should wait now.

I don't think so. GR's price is being affected by the release of the sequel, more like. GR was also Amazon exclusive, whereas GR2 is available at pretty much any retailer that sells games. If GR2 even becomes rare it won't be for a long while.

In the OT Canadians were saying Amazon was out of stock with an estimated delivery date of mid Feb to early March. That was 2 days ago; I have no idea if this is still the case.

Got this a couple weeks ago on Amazon at normal price, wonder if there will be a restock, glad I got a physical copy before the price skyrocketed.

I was actually looking for a copy today and I couldn't find one for a reasonable price. Not that bad but still a lot higher than a couple of months ago.

Kinda kicking myself for not jumping on it when I had the chance.

Must be a region thing. There's plenty of copies here in stock in Poland and for the same or lower price as when it premiered (around 23-25 euros).

Not for long. I'd get it while the going is good. People are going to look to import and resell.

Wouldn't worry about that too much. These supply issues on games nowadays seem to be an American thing mostly. This is just the Netherlands and pretty much every major store has plenty of supply, both online and brick&mortar.

It's pretty much the same in the rest of Europe. A few USA importers aren't gonna make a big change on the demand.

oops! guess i got the wrong one! :) ...

I sold my copy on ebay for like £25 a few weeks ago and I had multiple people from america asking me if I'd ship over there

I will be pretty good on the Wii U front. I have NSLU standalone, Bayo 1+2, and TMS. At one time Lego City Undercover looked like it was going up some, but it's been reprinted.

There's a bunch of 2013-era Wii U games that got low print runs and are now crazy jacked-up in price. That, Wii Sports Club, and Game & Wario are the main three. NES Remix Pack might be heading in that direction. Tokyo Mirage Sessions absolutely will. Anyone who wants the Bayonetta 1+2 first-run combo pack for a reasonable price is already dead. The Wii U is pretty handily going to be a collector's nightmare down the line.

The Luigi one is super weird though because there's pretty much no reason for it to be as jacked up as it is beyond collectibility. The NSMBU+L combo pack is more or less the same thing. I lucked out on it - nabbed it for $10 during Target's liquidation sales.

Got the special and standard edition of Tokyo Mirrage Session. Both are unopened. Gonna pick up the digital version before Nintendo completely kills off the the WiiU, and just rock that. Might pick up one more copy before it becomes stupid hard to find.

I been waiting for Nintendo to discount Bayonetta 1 and 2 on the e-shop for a while now, because I am not going to open up my combo pack now based on current values. Maybe they get ported over to Switch in anticipation of Bayo 3 or something....

I'm actually thinking about getting rid of my Luigi game too,it's pretty redundant if you have the combo pack with Mario U( which I got in a bundle a few years ago).

Got it at launch cause I loved the game on Vita and loved it even more on PS4. Super surprised at the rarity now. Glad it means it seems like enough people enjoy the new one to try out the first game.

do you know why it was recalled?

No idea but Nintendo gonna Nintendo. Maybe there was something in the software that potentially compromise account security.

I don't get it? There's demand, there's sortage on market.
Make more copies, profit?

That's the obvious thing to do but maybe Sony doesn't want to share the rewards with retail, forcing people to go digital. I don't know, but I do hope reprints show up, and not just on Amazon.

Anyone know if Sony addressed the issue on Twitter?

So is there any place to import where the game+shipping is $30 or roughly around that where the back of the box is in english too? Very nitpicky i know but just asking.

This is probably a Drakengard 2 situation where the price spikes for the me-too collectors when the sequel releases.

Gravity Rush is a legit good game, though, so who knows.

Do we know which imports have English va?

The game has no "English VA" because all the spoken dialogue is in a madeup language.

If it's English subs you're after then I think PAL copies should have it as an option, and there's also an Asian release that has English and Chinese subtitles.

So it would make sense to grab PS4 Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 from GameStop? It's their exclusive.

Probably. Plus at some point, Capcom's likely to lose the license again so may not even be online.

*hugs sealed PS3 UMvC3

Won't disappear online for purchase soon-ish, well after MvC Infinite, but any shop that 's the only place to get a physical game you want, go for it.
