So this has been asked heaps of times but where is the new iTunes Beta? Or is that the thing... that your phone / ipad can't be sync'd once it's updated?
Been available for several hours now: http://www.apple.com/apple-events/september-2013/

Is there a Window's version, or am i hosed now if i want to restore my data from a backup?
The iPad mini gets the stuff from the iPhone 5 and a Retina. Let's hope the 5's processor is good enough for Retina.
I mean what's in the mini right now? The 4 or 4S' processor? What was in the iPad 3 that made it so bad at running the screen?
For the past 2 years I keep convincing myself to stick to this 2008 non-unibody MacBook Pro, I think I still will wait for whenever they put Touch ID in there. It should be something developers can mess with, like BetterTouchTool, right?
Especially since it recognizes multiple fingers (one of the hands on videos I saw showed the iPhone telling the user which finger, out of the multiple fingers stored, it had just recognized).
Can you imagine launching different programs or actions with different fingers? Even just a basic multi-user login would be useful.
Then it'll have whatever's in the iPad 4 right now I guess? It better. I don't want the first Retina mini to suffer the same problem as the iPad 3 did. Apple would have learned better from that. It's not. The A6 will not be in a Retina Mini. It doesn't have the memory bandwidth to support a 2048x1536 resolution, which is a big part of the A5X and A6X designs.
The iPad mini has the iPad 2's A5 chip; the iPad 3 has an A5X, which is a tweaked A5 with more graphic horsepower - however, not enough horsepower to drive a 2048x1536 display as well as the iPad 2 could push 1024x768.

iPads have multiple versions. Did you make sure you got the one for yours? I don't mean number versions, I mean like antenna versions. CDMA, GSM and WiFi all have their own.Either the link I downloaded was false or I'm an idiot, it says "thisis not a valid restore for this ipad" etc.

The rumor is that they would both get an A7X. This comes from Ming-Chi Kuo, who was the first to say there would be a gold iPhone, and that there would be a sapphire lens on the Touch ID/Home button:

I'm guessing the A5X is still pretty inefficient since it required that huge and heavy battery. Or maybe the split will actually be A7/A7X.
Yeah I made sure as much as possible, but with how difficult it's beenntonfind the cdmanipadminim file I'm guess thrndownlpadm was just a fake or something. Will figure out In the morning. Tried to play this back on my Win7 machine that is more than capable via chrome and its choppy as heck. Anyone have any tips? Thanks!
Yeah the current mini does not have that right? I think it's got to be a boo boo in some sense. Doesn't mean that's the new mini or it's coming so soon, but it looks like, at least, a prototype model. Not sure whether this has been posted or not, but I think Apple made a slight booboo...

That to me looks like a new iPad Mini? - That bezel?

Fair enough. I had the exact same reaction as him. I've played with it many times in store. It has an iPhone 3G-style metal rim?? Never noticed. It looks exactly the same as it does on the iPad Mini page.
Quick question sorry if answered before does Whatsapp work on iOS7?
Can someone explain the iOS7 settings icon to me? I know it's a stupid thing, but every time I look at the screenshots I just think "what is that supposed to be" and it's getting to me now.
Man, iOS 7 is clean as hell. Some of my apps disappeared when I restored though, guess not everyone is on board yet?
First impression: I love the change but all the effects annoy me. I liked opening folders in iOS 6 but in iOS 7 it's annoying as hell.

was the file so yeah hmm
s snow leopard to blame?
this
+ icon colors are to bright. "Messages" hurts my eyes.
+ Control Center: the bluetooth on/off toggle is too close to the "arrow" that closes the CC - I either turn on/off bluetooth by accident and/or need multiple swipes to exit the CC.
+ I'll probably adapt to the new "plastic" look of iOS 7, but "Safari" looks cheap as fuck (speaking of which: sliding up/down to switch tabs? why?).
+ the grey background of the "Dock" is too prominent for my taste, I'd prefer it less opaque
Really liking iOS 7 so far. Though since I don't keep my apps on the computer, I had to download them manually. It's taking forever.
ios 7 really isn't that different besides control center until apps start updating. Unless you are a wacko that still uses the default apps for stuff.
I don't understand this. When I Updated (not restored) from iOS6 to iOS7 GM all my apps where there the whole process took like 5 minutes.
I don't agree
