Got destroyed multiple times, how the heck do you counter grabs?
I just jump dodged out of the way

Is it that much worse of a hitbox than mummy's version?Min Min's big arm seems like it really had awful hit boxes. People kept jumping over it and I keep thinking it would hit but it doesn't.

My thumb is on the triggers.Just roll your right thumb down. If you're holding it properly it's actually pretty easy.

You punch em
Did you try regular controls?
So did anyone else hold the Joycons wrong for their first match? I had them face each other in a Joycons grip-esque way rather than holding them in my fists. It was truly magical
They work much better than I expected.I only tried motion controls, are traditional controls alright?
I guess if you're resting your thumb on both triggers it's weird. I rest it on R (the thinner one), and quickly sliding down to hit X is no problem. Maybe it's just my somewhat large hands. My thumb is on the triggers.
Yeah, I saw your posts. It's really weird lol, I played the entire hour and had zero issues. Granted I was a couple feet away from my router but still.
helps to be using a lan adapter im in the USA and i didnt get any disconnects.

If a poster says a game is $80 or $90 or any other denomination above $60, you can safely assume they're in another country. Canada, for example, currently has games priced quite a bit higher than they are in the US. GAF has members from all over the globe.
My favorite match was when I was playing Mechanica and went down to "I can't see my own life at" health and then proceeded to knock off 2.5 bars of Master Mummy health to win.
Also people should stop trying to use Master Mummy's "Throw me for free." power.
I had a comeback and beat a pretty good Ninjara 1v1 using Helix. Next game was 1v1v1 with him included and he just went after me all the time.![]()
That said, I'm not sure, but it seems like you can power up the ball by hitting it a few times before sending it over. But I'm not sure and all I can tell is that there's a spike mechanic and I hope someone figures it out lol
I did and it wouldn't surprised me at all if a bunch in here did the same but won't admit to it. Or never realized they were holding them wrong and just assumed the motion controls sucked.
Can someone confirm for me if local multiplayer is available in the off-hours?
They also did very well in mine. We're the second highest easily.Leader of my lobby was on Ninjara throughout the session. Indeed, was a bit fun when I first joined and saw seven Ninjaras and me on Helix!
To be fair he probably couldn't figure out how to switch targets. I didn't know how to do it until I came on here and read how to after the test punch was over.
Posting this again because I need to know for tomorrow (bringing my Switch to a party) and I can't test this out myself because I only have my right Joy-con on me right now.
Kinda wish the characters had things to say, or rather much more to say.
They got pretty cool designs, give them a voice as well. Except Helix, he can keep being weird
