"Fins" and "shurikens" are wholly foreign to me in the first place, so whatever change he made to mono isn't my concern

I just started playing Eraser.

It's cool. I like it.

But I like Ninja Mono more.

Haha, me too. I've just kind of given up at keeping up. I'm up to 11 dethronings now. I don't have the time to strike back on some of 'em, 'cause I had already done so well that I'd need to practice quite a bit to catch up. D:

Plus I use Pointman, and it seems like it's much easier to get high scores with the other modes (because it's easier to get Seeing Red and Butter Ninja) that aren't Ninja Mono (lol).

and im still 100k BELOW the top casual leader score (who is also mono no iron mode, and only had an 11match achievement)

Absolutely nothing. Mono just doesn't have the same maximum point potential as other modes, no matter the difficulty level or whether or not it's Ironmode. You're screwed.

EDIT: D'oh, reading comprehension lawl.

Yeah if you hover over their score you can check their track out. If it's significantly different and looks like they cheated, you can report their scores.

I doubt you're doing anything wrong, just that the two mono players at the top there cheated.

It theoretically increases the point potential because traffic congestion is a little higher.

And it removes shoulders and fins, forcing you to become better at darting through blocks.

i had the weirdest camera angle in one of my songs while playing ironmode. it basically looked right down on top of the ship

like, how the hell am i supposed to see anything lol



and, oh, teknopathetic -- someone topped your score on Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger by like 20k.

Dammit Hitokage. Delusional Extremeties has become a bit of an obsession with me. And it's turned into a bit of a competition between me and two friends. VaSSiLi vs Firestorm vs makresh.

I finally got what I was trying to get for so long: Clean Finish + Stealth + Match 21.

However, I played it too safe and my score was still sorta low 97k after the bonuses. Ew.

Ugh. I wish they'd do something to allow Ninja Mono to actually compete with the other gametypes -_-; I like Ninja Mono best but it's impossible to compete for high scores when the potential for scoring is so low compared to Eraser and stuff. Maybe make the cap for successive hits higher? Or make stealth bonus higher?

So what are the best modes to play this? I see people are saying to do Iron Mode, so I'm doing that, but which mode is likely to net you the most points?

Also, is there some way of not sucking? :lol

I'm about to see how long I can last in Raise Your Skinny Arms... by GY!BE before I die or get bored.

Edit: I didn't know in Iron Mode you lose when it overfills Lost after about 6-7 minutes-ish.

Double Vision > Pointman/Pusher > Eraser > Mono, in terms of general scoring potential. I recommend you just play whichever one you enjoy the most.

Not sucking is mostly a matter of time.

Finally installed Steam and got the game some days ago.

Haven´t had much time to play other than some songs and on the easiest mode, but its a lot of fun, gorgeous and i´m loving it.

I just wish there would be an option to define a library plus random playback (like winamp for example).

PS:And sorry for the bump but didnt feel like opening a LTTP

No, and these days there are enough good Pushers that even us Erasers are getting knocked off the boards.

As for fraps, I've recorded enough videos that 30 fps feels more natural than 60 fps.

I have a bunch of different videos but my only real requirement for posting them is that I like the song, and I usually don't bother with it on the super fast songs.
