Having just rewatched the 1989 version I would completely disagree about Nicholson being a better Joker than Ledger. He was kinda phoning it in. It was too much like a parody of himself. This is the problem when you go with such a well-known actor.

Ledgers' is so much more believable and really captures the psycotic instability of the Joker. Also much less distracting cos he isnt as much a household name as Jack Nicholson.

LET'S ELECT THE PENGUIN LOOKING FREAK TO PUBLIC OFFICE

Sigh

It's obvious he won them over with his sad tale of not knowing his parents as well as Max Shrek(Christopher Walken)'s influence.

Things Change.

Whoa - chill out everyone. It's quite an ice movie to watch. The franchise was already cold at this point, but it's better than watching absolutely zero.

The face of our city will be the creepy fucker running around in a full body adult diaper

You're talking about a city and a mayor who depended on a man!

A Bat MAN!

No. This movie is no good! I get a bad feeling in my stomach thinking about how much effort and money was spent in something so bad. How the hell anyone working on Batman and Robin thought it would be a good film astonishes me.

Ugh.

And what's with the batman Forever love? Jim Carrey blended his Nigma with the Joker. And Two Face was out of character too. What the hell... Those two villians were awkward. They didn't match what I saw in the comics when I was a kid and I knew something was wrong.

I need to pop in a good Batman film to get the taste out of my mouth. Something like
Mask of the Phantasm
Batman Begins
TDK
Batman Returns
Batman 89

There's no way I can sit through this POS and enjoy it for being funny. It will never grace my TV or my DVD/Blu collection. It's bad from every angle. It contradicts the essence of what Batman evolved to be over time in the comics, animated series, and the first two movies.

And how the fuck does the ice skating shoes work? That was terrible!

Ugh.

It's the only thing in this world that reminds me that Seal exists, but it's good at that.

Oh holy shit I looked up his full name. It's Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel according to the internet.

I'll never forget that movie because I watched it all the way through, three times, on the same day, throughout the day, the day after the the first night I blacked out from alcohol.

The first time it was cool because I'd never seen it, the other two times were because I didn't have it in me to get off the couch and attempt to change the channel. It was bad.

The Uma Thurman and Batgirl parts helped ease the situation somewhat at least.

Wait, really?

I thought the drunk thread got a title change for a second.

The greatest thing about this movie is an interview i remember on french tv, of Goerge Clooney where he said something like : "Oh you know, i already killed dreamworks (cause of peacemaker), i won't kill Batman to!"

To be fair, Clooney was like the least offensive part of the movie.

It's actually a hilariously entertaining movie. Bad, but one of the best examples of so-bad-its-good. I can't watch it and not be entertained.

Everybody knows ledger only got a Oscar for dying, nicholson was a far better joker

Except Nicholson's Joker is BORING. Don't get me wrong, I love the 80's Batfilms and I like Nolan's BB/TDK, but Ledger's Joker felt insane, compared to Nicholson's.

I like them both, but they were both going for different take on the character so it's hard to compare really.

Batman and Robin just annoyed me, even watching it with a "so bad it's good" attitude, it's not all that fun.

I know I may be alone in this opinion, so I'm sorry if it seems a bit too "out there" and "controversial", but I'd totally marry Kim Kardashian.

I know she looks good, but try listening to her for over 5 minutes. I dare you.
