It's pretty easy to "get" but honestly I love it just for the flourishes. You feel like Batman as you kick the ass of every thug that gets in your way.In what kind of bizarro world is the Arkham series' combat a bad thing?

It is!
That's why I've just been deleting posts instead of banning.
Looks very meh. I kinda expected it though.
...this sounds cool- Can defeat the bosses in any order if you find out where you want to go
I think I'm more excited for this than the main game.
I just need to know if this is going to be a 3DS port on the Vita. The answer will surely gauge my purchase.
Dude a 2d metroidvania game? That sounds awesom-
- No save rooms
- Modern checkpoint system
- Can manually save whenever you desire
Oh...
I'm exaggerating but that was pretty disappointing to read. Game is on my radar.
2D animatics with full voices tell the story
The screens look pretty good. The quality looks on par with a typical Vita game

What's the deal with being disappointed by save anywhere? I love being able to save whenever. Don't people like that?
That has to be Vita.
Looks way too sharp for 3DS.
Sounds like motion comics?
Motion comics are disgusting.
Dear devs, please don't waste money in motion comics they always look awful.

'The best part about being good at video games is making sure everyone knows it!'
Even if that's where the caps are from, I'm sure it's a 3DS game that they up ported to Vita. That's the easier way to do it, afterall.
Takes full advantage of the visual three-dimensionality of the environments
- Explore, fight, and interact with the foreground abnd background
Based on resolution maybe?Except Armature has made a Vita game in the past, but not a 3DS one. I'm 99% certain Vita is the lead platform, based on those screens.
What games are in a 2.5D style again?
Im interested how the freeflow combat works in 2D
Actually, looking at these details
These are things that you can think about with 3DS in mind during development.
