Blame the broken quick edit feature. I meant, I have the equivalent of a overclocked PS3/360 with my current PC rig but not enough to go 1080p/60fps on everything, hahaha. I'm sorry.Wait, what?

Good to hear that the game is out of beta. When's the release?
Because I do think that 60fps is a big advantage to other players?
I'm not slamming PC gaming, I do my share of gaming there but I have a overclocked PS3/360 which is not enough to run games at full res and steady 60fps. In a FPS I think that would really matter.
Excuse me?What is up with everyone making stupid troll posts these days?
If ya'll want attention so bad, wear bright yellow pants everyday or something. Shit.
It's way better. I still start every match with no sound though, and a third of my matches start with me getting stuck in the ground for a minute or two. But at least 64 player Conquest is playable!
This November, called Battlefield 5![]()
Either your standards are extremely low or you're playing a magical version of the game.Played all weekend last weekend on PS4. Zero issues.

Nope.Did they ever fix the Dawnbreaker freezing issue on 360? Stopped playing a few months ago.
The problem was related to "tickrate," or how many times the game updates the positions of bullets, counts damage, etc. Battlefield 4 uses a tickrate of 10Hz, or 10 times per second. Games like Call of Duty usually use 30Hz, and some like Counter-Strike go as high as 60Hz. So when you fired a bullet at a certain distance, it would be intersecting with a player for two ticks instead of one, and the game would count it as two hits. The fix for that was to make sure the game never counted the same bullet twice, but the tickrate remained the same.
Unfortunately, the low tickrate seems to be responsible for other bugs, like "trade kills," where players get killed by a player they just killed who managed to fire off an extra bullet or two before the game realized they were dead.
Well, one of the first updates in the CTE was an update to the tickrate that raised it to 30Hz. Luckily, it seems to have made a huge difference, and responses have been pretty good from the Battlefield community.
platform?
shiiit OP edited, I'm on PS4So they finally fixed it and I can get into it now (PS4 version)?
Hey man, aim assist or not doesn't guarantee headshotsNot a surprise with the magical aimbot like "aim assist".
you just made me super sad, I don't know anything will be ever be as good as BF:BC2 PS3GAFgreenjerk(todahawk):
Unfortunately the early problems have already alienated much of our usual group.
I'll just wait till Destiny/BF:COPS and keep on dreaming about some super HD remaster of BFBC2.
AZZZZZ! Dunno but let me know when you pick it up!I have some PSN credit, is it cheaper now?

yep, still getting some 'dying around corners' but it's a relatively minor annoyance compared to the other shit we were dealing with. Don't get me wrong (EA if you're listening) I'd love for that shit to go away. You don't teleport all over the map thanks to rubberbanding anymore but dying around corners, etc is still extremely common and probably won't ever go away.
Yep, conquest needs some more work yet but it's been at least playable for me. I've been sticking with Rush, Dom, CTF, Carrier Assault and TDM.There is an improvement on PS4 version but rubberbanding is still present. Try playing conquest with 64 players on Lancang Dam....

PSN id = todahawk (PS4) if anyone wants to squad up. I'd love to get the band back together but like dream said, a lot of the PS4GAF group moved on.

So the sound bug(s) is still present? That was by far the most annoying thing for me. How did that not get fixed?
Yeah, I noticed that on some modes in particular. That's when I bust out a silenced kit and flank like a mofo. It's sniper haven now. Kind of annoying.
Heh. PC-side is just as bad. Most of the modes outside of the obvious one is pretty dead or dying. Launching the game in a broken state certainly didn't help inspire confidence in most of the "hardcore" PC fans.
Not playing Sabotage... come on. That's the best mode BF4 introduced.
What's the word on the xb1 version
Can't believe it was so low to begin with and it took so long to finally update it to CoD levels.
