Love how every game shown at that E3 event has never been announced for wii u.
If Nintendo wanted ports of next gen games then they should have made a console powerful enough to get ports of next gen games.
If Nintendo wanted EA they would of did the shinigami eye deal that EA "offered" them.Wow at people saying that Nintendo will reject third parties bwahahahaha.
Nintendo right now needs EA more than EA ever need nintendo.
I was referring to the exclusive comment. If games aren't on your platform but are on others, I'd count that as an exclusive against the Wii U.
well yes
but EA refuses to lay any groundwork for Wii U. why doesn't wii u have a future for EA?
and no, shitty late mass effect 3 port doesn't count
it seems like all the third parties are saying fuck it and bailing after only 4 months.

I think some are underestimating on how big of a failure the WiiU is becoming.
now you've blown that definition wide open, PC is the victor and no one will even come close ever![]()
I wish. The Gamecube was powerful and had F-Zero.Damn.. so Wii U really is going to become the gamecube of this generation.

Nintendo needs EA, Kojima Productions, Atlus, SquareEnix, Valve, Activision...
It is ridiculous and looks like obviously they deserve it. You cannot expect all the world to go after your ideas, specially when the other platforms have already the audience they are targeting and better online platforms.
Are there even any upcoming EA titles announced for the system now?

The game is coming out on the PS3 and 360 though.
Would that really have done any good? It seems like most devs don't even want to port their PS3/360 versions to the Wii U.

EA can lay the same groundwork anywhere. Groundwork isn't exclusive.
The pad? Throw a map and a pause screen that allows customization of your weapons/classes. Allow an option for off-TV play (not a lot of work). Done.
They bailed before the Wii U launch. Lots of games were quietly canned before any of the sales data from launch came in.
It makes me wonder now how long it will be until Ubisoft abandons Wii U.

The result being pretty much identical to what is actually happening.
Because it's got absolutely no consumer excitement. There's no buzz, no aspiration to own one, no software that justifies the concept behind it.
EA are looking forward to new systems with magnitudes more power and Nintendo are asking them to keep looking back whilst offering no justification to do so.
Why are we surprised? No third party wants to commit to the Wii U due to technical limitations once Next Gen is in full swing and the low install base.
The Wii U is going to be no different than the Wii in 3rd party support. In fact it could be worse as not even the 3rd party shovelware developers are touching it.
edit - BF is about playing online. Why would anyone buy an online focused game for the Wii U?
Keyword: "imagine""Imagine a shooter, like Battlefield, with jaw-dropping graphics and smooth character animations of the Frostbite engine, brought to you on a Nintendo system with that breakthrough controller."
Agreed. This thing is going to have worse support than Wii if things keep up.Why are we surprised? No third party wants to commit to the Wii U due to technical limitations once Next Gen is in full swing and the low install base.

I thought EA and Nintendo were playing nice with each other.
I think the writing was on the wall for EA support when Crysis 3 was running on the Wii U platform, but they decided not to release it, just because......
Wii at the beginning at least had some interesting unique third-party titles, Wii U won't even have that.
