A really good list of songs right there imo. The only other songs I would of really wanted would be Battle for the Umbran Throne and the Splash Wave remix (Outrun music is just too good)

Nice list, but I wish Gomorroah's theme and "You may call me father" would be in too.
 
I'm sooo fucking happy that we also get ALL THE GOOD SONGS with her inclusion (even if Tomorrow is Mine is an instrumental ver. it'll still be bloody great in the game). And not just like two songs and then those songs remixed like Ryu's stage.

It's kinda sad that this is it for Smash 4. I can't imagine what the next Smash will be like...

Anyway, I was so ecstatic when I saw the trailer. Bayo is who I was hoping for but I was 50/50 on thinking she would actually get in. If not her, then Wonder Red at least. I'm so hyped now though! For Cloud too! That was one character that only seemed to have a negative percent chance of getting in.

The original's combat system is a little better, but Bayonetta 2 makes up for that by stripping away all of the annoyances (overlong vehicle sequences, instant death on QTE failure, bad platforming...) and offering a vastly more consistent and replayable mission set, as well as the arena mode that lets you play 53 different battles with significant variations on higher difficulties. Seriously, I love Bayonetta 1, but only about half of the game is really fun to replay. They're both brilliant games but it has to be said that Bayonetta 2 outdoes the original in many ways.

Damn, great list. No Moon River is the main disappointment, and The Greatest Jubilee should have been included too, but otherwise I love that selection.
 
They actually managed to top Cloud's announcement. This is incredible. It feels like such an under dog video game - a critically acclaimed "flop" series finally gets the spotlight it deserves.

When they release her, they should put some deals up on the eShop for her games.
 
She's going to put a few kids through puberty.

Kinda like the Baroness did for a generation of kids with GI JOE in the 80's.

Legend of Aesir is just as good as You May Call Me Father, though!

A lot of Bayo music is really good so it's not surprising they couldn't get everything in there.

Sadden by the lack of Greatest Jubilee but everything else is stellar.

I can't believe Bayonetta went from being a sales disaster with a good soundtrack to a Nintendo staple.

And Nier is getting a sequel with amazing production values.

Year of goddamn dreams, holy shit. From the big ones back in E3 to stuff like Cloud and Bayonetta in Smash, the announcements from this year are on a whole other level.

Both Cloud and Bayonetta look well worth the money Nintendo is asking for them.

Pretty happy with this. Great character who should be fun to play with.

It'll be interesting to see how she plays because it seems like a lot of combos from the original game should work.
 
I sort of love what Smash has become. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the GameCube but props to them. They've made Smash a pure celebration of the medium. I don't mind the non Nintendo characters in Smash at all because of this.
 
It's crazy to think that a few years ago the Bayonetta IP was as good as dead, after the rumors that Sega canceled the sequel and shifted their focus away from console games. Now, we have the sequel, Bayonetta is in friggin' Smash Bros and a mass produced Bayo figurine is in production. And maybe there's even a chance of a third game. It's kind of surreal. I'm so happy. Thank you Nintendo for saving this awesome franchise and character.
