It's awesome to see an overall great character like Bayonetta join the big leagues and be in the company of such huge characters like Mario, Link, Sonic, Pac-Man and so on!

This year has been absolutely incredible for games. All of the naysayers who claim gaming went to pot after the Super Nintendo or PS2 or whatever can get stuffed.

This year we got:

An E3 of legend, with three impossible announcements (FF7, Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian)
A new Halo that fixed all the big issues I personally had with Halo 4
Platinum reviving childhood classics and cult classics alike (Transformers, TMNT, Nier)
Akuma in Tekken 7, and he's canon???
Cloud in Smash, what in the world
BAYONETTA IN SMASH BY POPULAR DEMAND WHAT THE HOLY FUCK IS HAPPENING

Despite Konami's best efforts to shart all over our dreams, 2015 has been incredible.

Was there an amiibo announcement? Please tell me there was an amiibo announcement. This thread is too long and crazy now for me to read all of it. I HAVE 3 HOURS OF MEETINGS AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS.

I don't know where Bayonetta fans were thinking the franchise was going to go (other than six feet under the ground) back in the day, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't the average expectation. Sometimes holding out hope pays off, though. And look at her now.

Between the Virtua Fighter Mii costumes and Bayonetta's Jeanne costume (Jeanne inspired by Virtua Fighter Jean) Nintendo sure does make a Sega Virtua Fighter addict like me go crazy.
 
Bayo 2 sales are going to see a nice bump. (And by extension, Bayo 1 sales since the definitive edition of the first game is included for free!)

It's a absolute dream come true for sure. Even playing the shoddy PS3 version Bayonetta very quickly turned into one of my favorites of all time, an absolute masterpiece. Bayonetta 3 on NX means I'm there day one, no question. Gotta give my queen all the support I can.

Well she made up for the lack of Wolf. I like that she is more covered in this game when she is summoning lol. Looks like a blast to play as, so I definitely look into checking her out.

this may just be the greatest thing ever to happen in all of videogames, no in all of everything ever. just throwing money at the screen already. what a time to be alive.
 
Not even a fan of this character but she looked bad ass. She stood out enough that I don't even mind her taking King K Rool's, Wart's and King Hippo's rightful spot.
 
I was actually afraid it was going to be more Kid Icarus shit with that voice over and focus on Pit. Thank goodness it was someone off the wall.
 
I have to say, it looks like they did a great job fitting her into Smash while retaining her style. She looks really fun to play. Still a bit too risqué for a family title IMO, but I guess Nintendo feels comfortable enough with it.
