I have to say, it looks like they did a great job fitting her into Smash while retaining her style. She looks really fun to play. Still a bit too risqué for a family title IMO, but I guess Nintendo feels comfortable enough with it.

I was mildly concerned about this back when Bayonetta 2 was announced for the Wii U, but then Platinum kept talking about how supportive Nintendo was, then those great Treehouse demos happened and all of the Nintendo themed in-game content was revealed. After that I knew Bayonetta had found a good home in Nintendo. Appearing as a playable character in a Smash title is the ultimate bar, though, and she actually made it.
