It's like the best of both worlds. For Cortana it was a dream come true.
For Noble Six it was an honor.
For the scoundrels inside Haven it just hurt a damn lot.
With Chief on board, the thousand men strong army, which included some of the best Krogan Battlemasters and Asari Commandos money could buy, had met their match. To put it bluntly they were being treated like some warm up exercise, their numbers dwindling exponentially with each passing second. It was the result of a double edge sword of tactical precision and brute force. As far as Cerberus was concerned, rescuing the Chief was already paying off dividends. A good investment to say the least.
"We no run! We have numbers!" A vorcha Blood Pack hunter tried in desperation to rally his troops, most of them high tailing it out of the room in defiance. "Do not run brothers! Argh!" its shriek pierced.
Hah, looking forward to it.jim-jam bongs said:You'll enjoy it here then. Quite a few developers post on GAF and if you don't like their answer you can tell them what you think without having to worry that a forum ban will prevent you from playing games you own. I even got to tease Greg Zeschuk about Sonic Chronicles, it was quite a cathartic moment.
Yeah, I always go "oh cool" when I learn of another dev who posts on GAF. Most recently I found out one of the producers from Star Trek Online posts here when he popped in the OT to thank us for our comments.Deified Data said:Hah, looking forward to it.

Looks like the Mass Effect fans are already doing better. I mean, didn't you see the ME porn that one guy posted? And it's been done before in other ME threads here. So far there has been no MLP porn posted in the MLP threads.ToHrU AdAcHi said:It's like Tali fans are trying to out creep the My Little Pony fans

The comic about being infatuated with one of the ponies was pretty bad, but in general I can't really argue with this.Zomba13 said:Looks like the Mass Effect fans are already doing better. They are missing only the furries.
Though maybe they can angle for that market with a Wookie romance.

That's incorrect. There are no cannon Bioware choices even though people keep saying it. They were choosing the path of least resistance for new players.TheSeks said:You don't get Wrex back because Bioware's "canon" is he died at Space Redneck's hands because ME's community is fucking stupid and can't do a five minute sidequest. :|
And people say we don't need new consoles. : (BioWare said:[This is about Mass Effect 3]
We did some tests earlier on with destruction pieces, but couldn't really get the performance within spec... so not really (sadly).
I will say though, that it was pretty cool to be able to throw a guy into a pillar and see him leave a crack in the wall... and see the pieces collapse and fall on top of his body. Or to be able to use a singularity under a scaffolding that guys were running across and see it get torn apart along with the enemies... lots of fun... but too costly. >_<

This is something they've been trying to do since the first ME, one of the earlier ME trailers showed some of the environmental destruction off. Would be a pretty neat addition, too bad they can't get it running at a decent framerate.Nirolak said:Due to this thread I decided to do a check of the forums again.
