Our phones can be so many things these days, why not a weapon?

I knew someone a few years ago that got arrested for having brass knuckles in his pocket and can't help but wonder at the legality of this, although they appear to be made from aluminum and not actual brass. We usually seem to have our hands on/near our phones, so this might be a better self-defense weapon then a can of mace or pepper spray.

What say you GAF?

The case looks ridiculous. Brass knuckles are ridiculous. Everything about this is ridiculous.

So long as they're not made of brass (as these obviously aren't) I believe they're legal. They also wouldn't do you much good in a fight. However, they'd make it pretty hard for someone to snatch your phone from your hand.
