I love the Japanese logo and I wish they'd use it in the NA version.
Aonuma mentioned they actively removed all the story from the demo.
But he is also very big on wanting the story to be told environmentally in this game and not just shoved in your face, so I imagine it will be pretty light, regardless.
I've never thought of Zelda's music as bombastic. It's always been charming and ecclectic as a whole. Also Skyward Sword focused a lot on piano, and Twilight Princess had Midna's Lament.one of the things I noticed about the music was how piano-based it is. Think about the trailer theme, the small snippets of music we've heard here and there, the chest-opening jingle, and even in one of the short videos about areas beyond the Plateau that Aonuma showed near the end of Treehouse Live there was a minimal, piano-based, melody playing over one of the areas.
It's quite the contrast from the bombastic sound of previous Zeldas. Of course, that doesn't mean the whole OST will be mostly piano compositions (I'm sure we'll hear more "conventional" Zelda tunes in the future), but I'm curious about the fact that they chose that the first glimpse of BOTW's world was to be accompanied by piano music. It's another stylistic choice that screams "we're breaking up with this series' conventions".
Dont know if it was posted but Game explain posted 40minutes worth around 6minutes they get rekt

They even made a joke about it. Aonuma said "we didn't challenge all the conventions" or something to that effect.Yes, Link waking up is a thing Miyamoto likes to put in on purpose.

where?
Also is fast travel confirmed in this?
This footage, sparse and aliased as it is, has me thinking about the NX and the power difference.
Here I was hoping Nintendo would finally be somewhat competitive again by launching something around as powerful as an XBO.
But from (the admittedly little) what I have heard it is supposedly less powerful than an XBO by a significant amount? And with Scorpio and Neo releasing, NX will be leapfrogged again.
I just want to see a technologically competitive Nintendo console again..
I want to see Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Donky Kong, etc at E3 along side Halo 6, The Last of Us 2, etc and be wowed by the fidelity.
I am afraid this will never happen again though. Damn I miss the Gamecube.
I got "most Zelda games" vibes
A Link to the Past
Ocarina of Time
Wind Waker
Skyward Sword
A Link Between Worlds

Shrine entrances act as teleportation points, or something to that effect.
No loading time when warping ? That's pretty impressive.Yes. Here's footage if you want to see it. (32:14).
Guts? Is that you?

Man, has there ever been a game as well recieved as this? It seems that a ton of people all across the internet (including me) think that it could be the greatest game ever. This isn't just normal Zelda hype, this is something else entirely.
The views for the Zelda trailer are insane. Most watched E3 trailer? (God of War???)

Funny how a few months ago people thought Nintendo was crazy for only having Zelda at e3.
I bet you he's actually Ganon in disguise.

What if it's like a broken cycle where a Ganon from a previous game survives and the timeline rips itself apart, creating a Ganon Gas that has no physical form because the old Ganon is still around so the Cycle is stuck on 85% which brings torment to everyone living in the land. So the older Ganon wakes Link up, guides him along only to use him to reach the Gas Ganon so he can consume it and take the form that was meant to happen.
Bam.
Do we know why Link has been asleep for 100 years? I haven't really played a Zelda game outside of Majora's Mask but I've always loved the franchise and followed it pretty closely. Also maining Sheik and Link in Smash

He conquered Hyrule, got bored and just decided to wake Link up for entertainment. Fully knowing he'll reincarnate later for the cycle to repeat?
c) Link was very tired after his last adventures and took a good rest.
Wow, looks charming as hell!
So what is the consensus, will this most likely be "best played" on NX or is it said that it will play the same on Wii U?
That was a girl's voice that woke him up. Probably Zelda's voice.
It's best to wait for the remaster on NX3 or for the PC emulated version.
In other words, nobody knows.
