Or is it just one of Adam's balls in my throat?

Just get new management in place already. Making games is the job. Create some structure and guidelines. So much shit is just noise and a waste of resources.

Twitter cut how many employees? I think it went from 8,000 to 1,500. Still runs fine and produces updates. There's so much dead weight in these big companies. How much of the 800 Bungie employees are actually Engineers/Developers? And how much of those Engineers/Developers actually produce? Cut all the fat. Hire competent people when needed.

Wonder if it's because of actual marching orders from Sony, or if they plum forgot about them in editing.
I see it as them actively treading lightly to avoid further scrutiny. I seriously doubt Sony is micromanaging them on a granular level like that.

Yeah but i still won't trust developers/publishers/anyone who pushed this trend in the first place. They are going to have to do a lot more than that to redeem themselves.

Shame.
It's now impossible to tell if they are a man or a woman (or neither....or both)
They could be the next female protagonist in a Naughty Dog game for all we know.

Giving up on the original game premise and pivoting to pve. Bending the knee to Asmongold over pronouns. The comeback may actually be on.

Sony is for sure steering the ship now imo.

Just goes to show that the entire thing is just corpos trying to cater to a specific audience, and now that it's clear this audience isn't showing up to play the game (they never do) the corpo pivots to appease to the next audience.

It isn't an ideology and it never will be - it's just marketing.

Performative nonsense.
