Unfortunately 1993 was the best year for me so I've been stuck using a powerbook 160 for 22 years
Ah yes, the reason I no longer purchase Apple products.
To think that thing cost $400.

For a 1440x900 display? Best trackpad in the world? Best keyboard? Thin and light? Yeah, it's worth it to me for the brand alone.
When you want to go Apple.. this is the way to do it cheaply.![]()
Just for clarification, GAF... I am the kind of person who still drives this:

Again, I am not a troll. Going to still be using all tech from 2010. My favorite year.
So, how long did it take you to find an iPhone running iOS 4?
I did make a terrible decision with buying the MacBook Air. I have decided instead on using the 2010 MacBook Pro someone gave to me and specing it out with 8GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Both from crucial. Sound better? I need thoughts.
Don't listen to their lies. You are what is right with the world. Fight the system. No one needs to buy new tech every five years.
Just checking in to confirm......
Yep, OP still knows jack shit about technology, value, and depreciation.
Alright checking out now.
I'm looking forward to your impressions.

This is what I'm anticipating. Or he will delude himself into thinking that they're great.
There's a reason people upgrade these devices regularly...
OP, I have a 2012 Nexus 7to sell you for just $100! It "runs" the Kindle app! That runs like absolute shit with Lollipop installed
Where the hell can you get an unlocked 6 without a contract for $200?$120 for an iphone 4 is even just as laughable considering you can get a 6 for $200 and just not use icloud -_-

So in the end all I really bought was:
This will set me up nicely for the future.
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 4 Battery Replacement
- iPhone 4 Dock
- iPhone 4 USB Cable
- iPhone 4 Wall Charger
- 250 GB SSD
- 8 GB DDR3 RAM
I have never owned a single Apple product in my life and I thought to myself,

Hey now, I wisened up a bit of the course of a few hours
No you haven't. You're still buying outdated tech for the same amount of money you could get newer tech.
Tech isn't cars. It's not wine. It's not even the last line of products from Jobs. The tech doesn't care if that was a good year for you.

I have made less of a mistake now. Read the post above yours.
Watching bms2993 with the 2010 MacBook Air, it was suddenly so clear. The MacBook Air, would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never open windows too quickly for him, or get the latest OS updates and restart on him, or say it was too busy connected to the cloud to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would open websites slowly, or not at all, to protect him. Of all the would-be laptops who came and went over the years, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.

I'm getting ripped to pieces in this thread. I honestly think $499 was worth it for the 2010 laptop. That's the lowest I could find on eBay.
