I am confused about the older bundled CoD: wouldn't that split the player base? Are they seriously releasing two different games simultaneously? Are they releasing the older one as a one shot and let it start dying (by not supporting it further)? I just don't get bundling the 'most successful' CoD game with a new one. They could've tested the waters with an older one. They could patch the old ones to play on the new game's network (servers or P2P- if they are still on that shit) from the same menu on the same game so that you wouldn't split the new player base.
I don't understand.
As a video? Sure. But what's the point if it isn't controlled? Unless it is a 'one time only' happening during the SP, it will get old very fast if it is a video loop in the MP for the millionth time (see Destiny shuttle video loop).
