Yeah I'm not buying the dedicated servers thing. I'm seeing a lag pattern very similar to Black Ops 2. Whenever I was host in that game I had a HUGE lag disadvantage against the entire lobby, due to what I believe was overdone lag compensation to offset host advantage. Maybe it's something to do with my internet or network setup, but I can't fathom how that would be. It was really sad having an egregious, way too noticeable host disadvantage.
Anyway, I am getting similar results some games in WW2 where the entire lobby is godlike against me. These are games where guys finishing 3-15 get all 3 kills against me and appear to have insane reflexes. I'd say it happens maybe every one in four lobbies, but my only explanation for it is that these are games where I am hosting. "Dedicated servers" has to be mumbo jumbo where technically there is some truth to it but it's not what most would consider dedicated servers.
Edit: I guess it's hard to argue against dedicated servers after reading the Reddit posted a few pages back (
https://www.reddit.com/r/WWII/comments/6vwlji/proof_the_wwii_private_multiplayer_beta_is/). I still don't understand why the connections feel the way they do at times. I've never experienced anything like this in any game with dedicated servers in my life. What the hell is the excuse for the games playing this inconsistently for so many people?
