This stupid fad needs to end.
so servers will be stable enough for me to play.
Who has the leverage in this case? TPC or Nintendo? Moving forward (this is a hypothetical), will Nintendo be able to stop TPC if they decide that they want the mainline Pokémon games to be on mobile?
This is how society falls.
Soon there will be a pics and then a new meme will be born.went to the texas rangers game tonight but all the pokemans seemed to be on the fucking field! ugh.
The fact that Pokeslay stays winning 20+ years after its conception and people are still reaching calling it a 'fad' and 'over'
Stay pressED haters
Pokemon stays winning
Let me guess, this is all fueled by the need to 1-up ones friends and say you have some digital trinket they don't and in the end, catching every Pokemon in GO gets you nothing good. Am I right?
Is this another mass compulsion like when everybody was playing Candy Crush? Are people even asking themselves why they're doing this? Who would have guessed Pokemon will be the first thing that brought people of all gender, races, religion belief, social status and background together. Well done Nintendo, well done.
I was at an airport restaurant last night and 4 middle aged (maybe 30 to 35 years old) black waitresses were all talking about what Pokemon they had found along the terminal. Definitely not the image I had when I imagined Pokemon enthusiasts. It's great to see.
What! That is not middle age.
Yeah, just like Sony games flourish on their own hardware.
PS4: 40 Million Sold...Best Selling Game is Uncharted with an attach rate of 6% (2.7 Sales).
Wii U: 12 Million Sold...Best Selling Game is Mario Kart 8 with an attach rate of 59% (7.5 Million Sales).
...I think Nintendo are fine.
I just pooped and caught a Bellsprout between wipes
What a time to be alive
I think a lot of people were thinking Virtual Reality was the next big thing in gaming, but I wonder if it's actually GPS-based Augmented Reality.
I haven't seen anything like this since Wii Sports. It's insane.
The only way this will have legs is trading and battling.
Make it strictly local trading and battling to keep the social and Go aspect of the game.
If they do this while it's still hot this will get huge
Then they can start adding features like petting ur Pokemon in AR etc taking and sharing photos or your Pokémon collection in AR.
There are roving bands of kids outside my apartment, along with college age kids and mid 20s like me.
A couple hours ago someone almost got hit by a car near my place walking into the road trying to catch a pokemon.
My wife was unloading groceries from the car and left our garage open. She heard someone yell "YES! I caught it!" Three high school kids parked in front of our yard to catch an Ivysaur. She ran out, and they thought she would be mad...nope, wanted to know what they caught, then she opened her app up and thanked them for the tip.
My wife hates video games, y'all. We both play this...and she's already outleveled me.
Good news for me is that there's a gym and a Pokéstop at my office.
TFW my phone can't run it
There must have been a pokemon living in my front yard because I watched a dude walking a dog stop in his tracks, wander to my apple tree with his phone out and catch something. Wonder what it was. I'm glad I knew what he was doing as he looked kinda like a creeper hahaha
