That's what I'm asking!

Well I don't know what answer you are looking for. lol

Vision is OP in every medium. Either he exists and is OP or he just doesn't exist. Anyone that powerful is going to cause plot problems along the way. Not saying it's a good thing, just saying that I've come to accept it in relation to these types of stories.

People's thoughts on seeing a young RDJ at the beginning of the film? Wow, that was pretty damn impressive.
It's funny. I'm old enough to know what dude liked life back then. A few from the (younger) audience were wondering who the actor was. lol..As nice as it was, I laughed at those comments. Again..

I wish it wasn't spoiled for me during the press release interviews (Either RDJ or one of the Russos accidently mentioned it when bragging about the CG work in the film), but still was surprised either way. Looked great. Wish they had him to a slightly higher pitched voice or something, I couldn't disassociate that voice with the old Tony that I know.

When they finally adapt Siege in Phase 4 or whatever, they're going to replace Sentry with Vision aren't they. :P

Nah. Vision is going to get turned into scrap in the first part of the Infinity War movies (or whatever they will be called).

Thanos needs that Soul Gem.

Why would Vision deal with any of this bullshit and not just overpower everyone instantly considering how OP he is compared to everyone but Wanda?

Vision's existence creates a lot of problems plot-wise.

Didn't he have a line, after he shoots Rhodes, about him not being focused or something like that? They play up him struggling with his powers and not knowing if he's in control or the gem is.

Thought he felt the same as Superman in BvS. He just not focused, and therefore doesn't do what you would expect somebody so powerful to do. Also plot reasons.

Isn't it the Mind Gem? Also, I don't think Vision is going to die. That's what everyone expects to happen, like we all expected Steve to die at the end of Civil War. The Russos will probably try something different instead.

When Rhodes is getting his MRI Stark asks him what happened and he responds with "I was... distracted." They are apparently diving right into Vision + SW at a breakneck pace.

Well, the line is something like "I became distracted", to which Tony adds, "I thought that was impossible". He's more of a computer coming to terms with sentience.

But I mean, Rhodes wasn't there either, so who knows, maybe he stayed behind as Team B with Tony and WM. Makes sense that they would split like that. Cap chasing Rumlow didn't seem like A priority Avengers duty.

Ya, you are right. The Soul Gem/Stone is still out there.

My dad really dislikes the new Spider-man. He keeps going on and on about how it's the one flaw the movie had because Spider-man is a stupid kid and he doesn't like how he was randomly inserted into the film. I think he just really liked the Sam Raimi films and can't let go.

What do you guys think of the soundtrack by Jackman?

I'm listening to it on Spotify right now, seems very... understated and utilitarian.

While I agree with you that I don't think he'll die, I don't know how else Thanos can get the Mind Stone considering Vision only lives because of it.

He likes his teenagers played by 30 year olds?

Well that was a fun ride. Spidey was an adorable little shrimp and I loved him gushing about everything going on. Black Panther was awesome and I cant wait for his solo.

Glad Cap went and bailed his team out at the end. ( Although how did he find that place? HOW did he get in?) Questions for another day.

Conventional wisdom is that...

the object in his necklace is the soul stone, right?

Time Gem.

I thought the implication was that Rhodes was more a propaganda tool--used by the US Government for their benefit rather than an Avenger.

As Iron Patriot maybe, but after the Iron Man 3 fiasco maybe not anymore. At the end of Age of Ultron he is part of the Avengers, although it's unclear who he answers to anyway.

Just came from the theater. Holy fuck. Only thing I'll say is that the big twist and final fight had our audience dead fucking silent. The tension was unreal and bordering on uncomfortable.

Hands down the best marvel movie.

There may as well not have even been a score, basically.

I really hope they bring Silvestri's Avengers theme for Infinity War. It's the last memorable piece of music the MCU has had.

Panther knew about the Raft.

Widow or Sharon would have clued him in I guess.

How did he get in? He's Captain Fucking America, that's how.

So does anyone know the relevance of Martin Freeman in the movie, or more specifically the MCU. It felt very strange to me to have such a big name actor have such a small appearance at the end of the movie, but then ALSO make a big deal of crediting him with the rest of the main cast at the beginning of the credits.

Everett is an important character to Black Panther

Just got out. Real IMAX screening here in Orlando.

Amazing. Bravo to the entire crew...from the actors to directors to the VFX & audio engineers. A triumph.

After seeing how Black Panther and Spider-Man were introduced in this movie, anyone claiming Marvel doesn't deserve to have Fantastic 4 and, yes, even XMen is an idiot. There should no longer debate be a debate about this point.

Marvel is going to treat their IPs with the care & respect they deserve. Give them all back to Marvel. Let Phase 4 be about F4, XMen and Inhumans.

Do it

He's a Black Panther character who was supposed to keep track of him while he was in the US.
