re: BPs ring.

The interaction between it and Bucky's arm looked like they were pulling towards each other?

YES! I asked the person I went with and he didn't notice it. Is Bucky's arm also made of Vibranium and that's where the attraction came from? That's what I wondered..figured it might have been a bit of a setup question for the solo BP film. Obviously, that idea went away by the end..

I wonder if Hydra would have been able to get even a small sample out of Wakanda. Anybody know how long Ulysses Klaue's been in business?

I still think it's far down the line when Bucky gets a new, all-Vibranium arm, but only after his mind is cleansed of the Winter Soldier programming, and he does a solid for T'Challa and Wakanda. Can't just get indestructible prosthetic arms for free from the only nation with Vibranium now, gotta earn it.

As if the line between us couldn't get any wider
You go and support Tony Stank

The man spends the whole movie trying to maneuver the best solution for everyone

While Dipshit McFootballface just keeps going 'Well everybody else thinks this is right, but fuck you', all while keeping secrets from someone who was supposed to be his friend!

Tony decides that because he keeps fucking up that everyone else should be government lap dogs

Speaking of Tony, did anybody else remember the old reports that Gwyneth Paltrow was seen on set, and that Pepper would be in Civil War?

I suppose those reports were either erroneous, or she's in the post-credits stinger... Betting more on the former, especially because if she was around then Tony wouldn't do most if not all of the stuff that he did in this movie, maybe.

I still want to believe Steve missed that implication like I did. Because if he did know, #TeamCap was a sham.

I'm not saying he didn't know, because I do believe he did. I'm just saying he got it from Bucky's file (the one Natasha handed him at the end of the movie), and not from that conversation with Zola.

Wait, did we just have people shitting on Peggy and Cap relationship?! This will not stand.

Wait, really? Zola is pretty clear on that. I don't recall that info mentioned anywhere before that either. The fight seemed inevitable to me, which is why when Civil War was announced, I just assumed Tony found out and went nuts..obviously shit went a bit deeper before that reveal.

Yeah didn't they announce she was gonna be in the movie like last month? For those who already have seen the film Is she in there at all?

oh hey chronos your avatar, I think I remember my brother had those angry food thing, weren't they military themed? I've been curious for the longest time trying to figure out just what those things are,

Again, Zola clearly said Hydra did it. Most of the other people in this thread have said that showing Bucky during the montage was enough to flat out say that Bucky did it. But Zola never directly says it was Bucky. And if you watch the end of Winter Soldier, Natasha gives Steve Bucky's file from Russia in order to help Cap track him down. There's no way that his list of assignments wouldn't have been in that file. So even if he didn't pick it up from that Zola conversation, it would have been in there, and Steve still would have known.

I mean, it's all Wanda's fault

Also man, Crossbones is super important in death

Crossbones was the Nitro for this film's Stamford Incident.

I wonder if that line about Bucky was legit? If he's been in hiding and wandering since the end of Winter Soldier, there's no way he could interface with anybody like Rumlow or Zemo, right? Was that another part of Zemo's plan, some deception fed to Cap via Rumlow?

Yeah didn't they announce she was gonna be in the movie like last month? For those who already have seen the film Is she in there at all?

Yeah, Empire reported it, and she's nowhere in this film at all, only mentioned by name in an interesting way. Makes me really wonder if she's in the end-of-credits stinger, or will be in deleted scenes. It also really did feel like Pepper's absences messes with Tony. He should stop talking to Friday in his head. >_>

To the stuff about shoehorned romances in superhero films nowadays, as far as I read it, I thought what happened between Cap and Sharon in this movie was short and sweet. It wasn't overwrought, Sharon did more in the film than just be somebody for Cap to kiss romantically finally after 95+ years, and we got Sam and Bucky nodding with approval as the hilarious cherry on top.

Ah..I got you. Yeah, it's clear, but he doesn't say it outright.

Like, I know it's cliche, but I really get both sides. The victims' criticisms are right, the Avengers will enter whatever country they want, fight the baddy with x collateral damage, and then leave. The US probably helps pay for the damages but that would be then assuming responsibility for the group's actions which opens up a whole bunch of other problems

I don't think that "become UN workers" was the answer, but he criticism was sound

I don't remember Ant-Man, Vision, and Scarlet Witch killing anyone. Black Panther and Spidey don't kill anyone in this movie either.

Wait nevermind Ant-Man killed Yellowjacket.

Don't you remember Cross imploding on himself due to Ant-Man? Or Vision finishing off the last Ultron?

What are the post credits bits?

Does spiderman feel like a important part of the movie or just something they kind of tossed into half way through filming because they got the rights?

So which characters make cameos?
None. What you see in the trailers is who you get in the movie.

The mid credits scene is Cap and Bucky in Wakanda putting Bucky back on ice with T'Challa's help. There was no after credits scene for my screening. There may be one once the movie actually comes out.

As for Spidey, it's kind of both. He comes in and does this thing, then exits. It's a nice way to set him up for his own movie though. Gets all the BS out of the way.

Only one so far; it's a nice look at Wakanda. People seem to think they're going to add a second post credit for general release based on something?

It feels half and half. He isn't needed, but it's a very, very good intro.

BP, on the other hand, is absolutely essential and there was no way Spidey was ever going to be in his slot whatsoever.
