I really hate this kind of movie

Last time ive watched one of those was Shrek 3 (btw forgotten - not the character but the movie) because i was dating a girl who said she "loved shrek movies"

It was awful... like those cgi animated movies usually are

This. I still remember the movie though.

Megamind is good, but it's ugly as shit. Got this real uncanny valley thing going on, the characters' faces and movement skew way too realistic for the otherwise exaggerated and comic bookish art direction they're plastered on.

Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet play rats. There are like...there's like a sewer and they fight some frogs. Some slugs start singing at some point, I think. There's more...there's....it's all a big sewer and I think a diamond is involved and one of the frogs is a French mime. Someone falls over, I can't remember who. Cockney accents. Lots of cockney accents.

I remember a film trailer for a foreign animated film with a yellow tint and an adult subject matter....but its driving me crazy trying to find it. It wasn't anime, or Waltz with Bashir. It had kidnapping and murder I believe, around 2007 or 2008. I'm doubtful anyone knows what it is from that description....

The Croods was actually decent but the marketing was misleading, made it look a lot more generic than it was.

Flushed Away is the most British movie in existence, they somehow managed to make movie about mice in the sewer revolve around the World Cup.

Legend of the Guardians, not to be confused with Rise of the Guardians (which everyone also forgot).

Why yes, it was directed by Zack Snyder.

Great pick me and my kid loved that movie...

The running joke of "not enough owls" went on for far too long.

Monsters vs. Aliens needs more love and Epic deserved a better script but I like and remember both, aside from Doogal, I say Shark Tale, Dreamworks weakest film by far.

More cause I was talking with the GF

Monster House (scared the ever living shit outta my kid when it came out)
Hotel Transylvania
Planet 51
Book of Life
Ivan the incredible (saggy cg tits everywhere)
Valiant

I liked Monster House as a kid. Don't know how well it held up.

Hotel Transylvania is getting a sequel, FWIW.

I saw part of Planet 51 on Cartoon Network or something, that bit was crap.

ParaNorman? Seriously? It's great. Also, it's primarily stop-motion.

I was just about to post Valiant, so I'll post this instead:

I yanked Norman out, I know it's awesome, just want people to be aware...
