Hoodwinked is one:

And over the Hedge:

Look at that cast you would have thought it would be huge. One movie with Bruce Willis,Gary Shandling, Steve Carrell, Wanda Cykes, andNick Nolte? Crazy.
Couldn't believe how bad the animation was. I thought it was one of those redbox movies mean't to ride deceive parents.

Y'know I went into this thread thinking "I got one that'll knock these guys' socks off. There was this one movie where Jon Stewart played some jack in the box or some shit." And as I go through this thread my thoughts change to "What the hell is a Doogal?"
Lo and behold it was the same damn movie.

I quite enjoyed a lot of these movies :(
bolt, over the hedge, meet the robinsons, 9 , flushed away all ranged from enjoyable to really good. flushed away is actually one of my favorites

I really liked Final Fantasy - The Spirits Within. But when I first saw it in the theater I was utterly disappointed and thought it was bad because it didn't have the typical FF elements. Where's the chocobo's, summons, people casting fire, etc. But after buying the Blu-ray a few years back it has grown on me as a decent sci fi flick on it's own. I even thought the plot was rather interesting science fiction
The enemies are really just ghosts of lifeforms from an alien world that got dragged dragged to earth on an asteroid after their world was destroyed by war. Sounded like something out of Star Trek.
I thought the dream sequences were incredible. Good voice work from familiar actors as well. Hell, it's a much better movie than Advent Children IMO.

I also mostly liked it as a stand alone story completely divorced from all Final Fantasy conventions. The way that the phantoms killed people by tearing out their souls was really unsettling to me, especially during the climax where there's this one poor sap whose soul is kicking and screaming as some ghost tentacle yanks him away.

I also should probably rewatch it some day. I remember liking it as a kid when it came out and I had none of this "how it's that Final Fantasy?" because it was the first FF thing I had actual contact with.

I caught bits and pieces of most of this at a friend's house, his kids were watching it. It was pretty good, I was impressed!

Apparently it's a spinoff of a 52-episode 2D animated series? Huh!

I vaguely remember the tv. I think it was a French 2D animated series. Pretty decent from what I watched.

I very often forget that this existed.

Edit - Ah CGI. This doesn't quite qualify then I guess, if I'm remembering correctly.

Though already mentioned, Mars Needs A Mom & Wild are definitely the ones I would nominate.

There's also Barnyard?

The Asterix and the Mansions of the Gods movie is actually pretty good and really on model to the comics. I don't think it got a theatrical release though.

I don't think I ever see people talking about this movie. I rewatched it last Halloween and it's pretty decent! The animation hasn't aged very well though.

Monster House was surprisingly good actually.

For all the noise surrounding it at release, i think Rango faded incredibly quick

Friends and I cracked up every time we saw new clips of this poor dreamworks wannabe movie.
I think this movie was 10 years in the making.

I'm still not gonna watch it, but I can never forget it.

I.............. i'll see myself out.

Goddammit!!! This was my choice, this movie is animated ghonorrhea

About Strange Magic, that never came to my country, most of the designs are downright hideous, but the Fairy Female Lead has a really nice design, as well as the male lead monster.
Maybe I´ll give it a watch, can't be worse than FoodFight

EDIT: Disagree with Jimmy Neutron, it had a long running series afterwards.
But for me it suffered from the same flaw as "All Grown Up!", that is picturing 10 year olds in creepy romantc scenarios....THEY'RE 10 FFS!!!
