Chick-fil-A is playing religious music while you eat on the low

Also, the "Prince of Egypt" soundtrack is one of my favorites.

My man.

My high school's marching band used the soundtrack to PoE and it was fucking glorious... mostly because I got to march in it and it was a state year lol.

Just use the drive through like a normal person and enjoy your unhealthy chicken.

Lmao y'all are doing Chick Fil A wrong by going through the drive through.

What you do is download the app, place your order through the app and once you're nearby the CFA, the app will automatically send the order to the store so you just need to walk in to pick it up. There's practically no waiting if you do it this way.

I'm sure some Atheist anime avatar will have an issue with this.

Whatever religious tunes they play are probably on par with or better than your top 40 garbage anyway.
Hopefully they're more bothered by it being a bigoted company. Hopefully... Also lol at your second statement.

Still, I would expect modbot to lock this thread soon as this is the biggest non-surprise topic we've had in awhile. What's to discuss? It's a Christian company.

The majority of religious music I've heard makes it sounds like the singer wants to get into Jesus's pants but I'm sure there is good stuff out there

That's not surprising. Gotta tolerate chick fil a a shoving their bigoted, religious agenda down your atheist throat as long as you keep shoving down that delicious fried chicken.

Yeah but that spicy chicken deluxe, though.

It almost makes up for the whole "Oh you're literally not people in my eyes, burn in hell sinful scourge, why are you bringing hurricanes and tornadoes upon us by existing" thing.

Almost.

There's a Sushi place near my office that's run by Jehova Witnesses and they do this, is a little annoying but the sushi is good and cheap.

So?

I don't see the big deal, there are religious people out there. And it is a religious owned establishment.

Yeah. That's the feeling I'm getting from this. Unless you play the song backwards and hear "believe in the one true God and buy our new spicy double chicken sandwich". not really a big deal.

Lol at the OP. Did you forget the company was founded by devout Evangelical Christians? TheyÂ’re not even open on Sundays.

I guess people can get mad about virtually anything but towards my point, I would be indifferent to the playing of satanic music. Yes, we are all aware of their particular stance and I've been eating there for years, Shazaming for years and I've never Shazamed a song with a religious basis there. So, from there, it made me think that myself, purveyor of tons of music, was clueless on this long imagine how many others didn't know this. Is that a bad thing, of course it isn't. So, for those with snark, please save it as this thread was designed with the intention of discussion of first, being surprised by what I heard today and think out of pure curiosity, where else does this happen.

christian music is huge. they play it anywhere

heard it at Discount Tire the other day. zero shits were given on my end

I love Christmas Music,
Thank God is all over the place during the holiday season.

*sigh* it's so peaceful :D

I love those home alone tracks too.

Is that a problem? I mean do you think you're going to be brainwashed into Christianity by them throwing some Newsboys on the radio?

When I eat their chicken...am I taking a bit of Jesus into me?

Will Jesus be enough to fill me up?

"Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me." - John 6: 53-57

You're welcome :)

Disclaimer: My knowledge of worship music peaks at 2011
Is the second song How He Loves by the David Crowder Band? B/c it still gets played all the time on one of my radio stations. Lol!
I think the first song is Beautiful Things by Gungor.
