Yeah, the gimmick and cutesy plays they run don't work against the real deal. In fact, it pretty much is a contributing factor in their loss.

They lost on a last second FG. Oregon had just as much offensive success as Auburn. Are they gimmicky and cutesy too? Hell, are the New England Patriots? The West Coast offense was a "gimmick" at one point, too, replacing 300 pound offensive lineman with smaller, quicker guys, and setting up the run with the pass. Gimmick?

Yeah, with Florida's coach gone and Myles likely taking a trip to Michigan, two of the powerhouses will be in disarray (or in Florida's case, continue to be in disarray). UGA is a question mark. Seems like AU, UA, SC, and Miss State (lol) are the only sure-fire teams that will be above average.

AU's losing Cam, Fairley, and the O-Line. Lots of Seniors

UA's losing Julio and starting a new QB. New QB's are always shaky. Losing Ingram and Dareus is not as tough as losing Julio.

SC isn't playing Alabama, so no career days from them.

LSU might lose Miles, and that might be a good thing for them. Plus, getting a solid JUCO QB in Metts.

I personally think Florida will operate better offensively with a pro-style offense. Might not run the ball as well, but their QB fits that better. No QB Dive plays from him can only be a good thing.

UGA is going down. No more AJ Green ends them until they find some sort of identity.

Auburn will be cleared of what? The NCAA won't seriously investigate this, but based on what we know already, Cam should not have been playing.

They are a great school. I know from experience. I know it all seems like "SEC corn eatin beer drinking sister rapin" shenanigans to people who see us on TV, but Auburn is a great college and again I just can't see them willfully doing something like this. Came back later to watch it and the fucking TiVo didn't record it despite me telling it to. Loaded up the xbox to stream the last quarter but it wasn't ready for replay yet. It's possible they could go into a Tebow-like depression, but only one year of Cam makes me think that's unlikely.

I am definitely excited for Oregon next season. We've proven our chops and can only get better. Though, the loss of Jeff Maehl is gonna hurt bigtime.
