Any of those Gojira comics y'all posting about that follows these kinda story notes?

Because i could certainly do with more of this sort of thing.

Bacchus v1, Immortality Isn't Forever: Why have none of you all mentioned Bacchus is amazing comics?** The premise is excellent and all the characters introduced have been great. Lovely art too.
Sad we won't get to see most of the pantheon because I love Campbell's take on the rest. Theseus is a right prick. Argus' grandson is creepy as fuck. And the depiction of Bacchus himself is amazing.

** (Maybe you did and I wasn't paying attention.)

1602 Witch Hunter Angela #2 continues the amazing start from the first issue adding in a bit of fun in this issue while keeping the drama in tact. The art styles are lovely Stephanie Hans work is breath taking (I wish they would use her Angela costume in the regular book once this is over it's so good looking) and Irene Kohs art fits perfectly with what they are trying to do. Love the creative team on this book, can't wait for next month and delighted they are staying post secret wars. Might be my favorite SW book.

Does this mini tie in at all with Gaiman's 1602?

Wow that is cute as fuck, I've only read a little of the main IDW series and it's not very good. I haven't read Half Century War yet but I doubt it's anything like that.

Hey everyone new comic book reader here. So far I've just been reading on Marvel Unlimited but I want to get into some DC stuff and I want to start reading physical books. I decided to buy Batwoman Vol 1-4 in SC. I saw that Volume 1 and 4's HC editions have 16 more pages. Can someone tell me why that is? Is it just extra content like art?
Can't answer that particular question, but... Don't forget Batwoman: Elegy! It's the actual start of all that and quite good!

Man, I have not seen an avatar press artist whose work I have liked.

They have zero Great artists. At its best, you'll be perusing the works of Gabriel Andrade, Rafael Ortiz and Javier Barreno, and at its worst... well, the least said about it the better. They also have a horribly hard time finding good colorists, apparently.

To this day i don't know why you all are so traumatized by OT. Like it is some great effort to not get banned. Heck, you even have a huuuuge leeway to be a prick to others without getting banned.

Just use the golden rule: "does my post look like something that Gambit would write?"

Shelf porn? Mine is a little more reserved but there's so much I want to eventually own I'm sure my meager collection will balloon up like my mangoes.

GKetter your room is awesome but all I keep seeing is a shelf full of Darth Vader heads..

you took off the bprd dust covers to match the hellboy library?

Try to seek help for that anxiety. I've been prescribed anxiety medicine by my physician before.

Also, try to avoid OT if you need to.

Eh, my anxiety doesn't increase in a significant way. If I just stop looking at something I don't like, it goes away. Sometimes I do get bothered but it's not worth getting dogpiled for having a different opinion.

Don't fret the small stuff is a quote i read somewhere that probably applies here.

I have read zero issues of Batgirl, but I'm considering picking up Annual #3 since it has Spyral/Grayson stuff in it. Anyone read this yet? Is it worth it?

I might actually watch that GOTG series. I'm desperate as fuck for a new Western action cartoon and the animation in the shorts are lightyears ahead of the other two shows Disney has.

The backgrounds are actually painted instead of being real locations with the ugliest fucking filter on them like in Ult Spider-Man which helps.

Well, I mean, it's an annual and it's Babs focused, so it doesn't really add anything to the Grayson side of things if that's what you're looking for. It's just a silly little part of a side adventure that happens to have Dick and Spytress show up for the first half or so.

If you're also fans of Spoiler and Gotham Academy it makes it even more worth it.

The Grayson and Spyral stuff is separate from their ongoing story line, though.
